Free luggage storage, the front desk staff personally took it to the door of the room, which was great. The room was very retro and the location was very good. What else can you ask for at this price in a place like Rome Termini Station?

The hotel has very good service from its staff, very clean and in a good location. The only thing is that it is a bit old and the Wi-Fi was not very good in the rooms, otherwise everything was very good!

The hotel is relatively formal

Only 1 socket in the room, so you could have the fridge or light or kettle on. The walls were covered in a pale textile, but had vents high up with strange dark grey stains around them, reminiscent of smoke . Red carpet/ harsh velvet on skirting boards and bed head. The table was a computer desk that had chips all over it. Paper cups, no coffee sachets, 2 t bags per day, no spoons or milk Did have a fridge and an ineffectual air con. Scrambled eggs that were bouncy, breakfast staff quite grumpy,. The lift was charming, similar to the one in the film Thoroughly Modern Millie.

At 11:00 pm the floor of our bathroom was covered with dirty shower water from the room above. I went down to the desk and the gentleman, while polite, informed me that there was nothing he could do. He couldn’t get maintenance, the hotel was full and we had to stay in our room. He talked to the manager who was no help. He gave me a stack of towels so I could clean it up and promised me that he had early departures and would have a bathroom cleaned by 7:00 am so we could shower before our early tour departure. At 7:00 am he gave me the key to the newly cleaned room. Fortunately, I checked the room before we moved our stuff. Upon entering I encountered someone who had been sleeping until I woke them up. Returning to the front desk the young lady, who was not polite, said it must have been a computer problem that caused them to send us to an occupied room. There was no clean room. I suggested to the manager via email that they might compensate us for little sleep, no showers, having to pack up and move with a room for one night the following weekend when we came back through Rome. Her reply was a $20 discount from what I could book online. Her reply included repeating a series of lies from the young lady, downplaying the problems and a lot of excuses. Stuff happens especially when you’re traveling. But, the hotel manager had the opportunity to make things right and completely failed.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Even though they advertise air conditioning, make no mistake, there is none in the rooms! The rooms are tiny and showers are even smaller. In addition, the breakfast and coffee were not very good. Then, to make matters worse, one of our students found BUGS in her BED. Like many bugs! GROSS! And lastly, they double-charged us for multiple drinks at the bar and then billed us for it after we checked out and returned home. They did this even though, upon checkout, we paid bar tabs and asked if everything was paid for all rooms for our group, and we were told yes, everything was paid and squared away. I couldn't have been more disappointed and frustrated! Stay somewhere else!

The receptionist and ladies in the breakfast room made our stay here pleasant and enjoyable. The hotel is a good location and fairly quiet but the decor is a bit tired. It could do with new carpet and freshen up but overall an ok stay for exploring Rome! I loved the pancake machine at breakfast too. There is so much to do you’re not in the hotel that much anyway. Myself and my boyfriend came here recently for an anniversary holiday and were very pleased with the friendly customer service and high standard of cleanliness we experienced in all areas of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets felt fresh, making for a very comfortable and much needed sleep after a day of traveling/sightseeing. The breakfast service was better than we had expected, serving more of a variety of foods than my boyfriend had ever seen at a hotel breakfast bar! The only issue we had was the bar across the road from the hotel was quite noisy into the early hours of the morning, but that is no fault of the hotel or their staff. We would gladly come back here in the future!

Walking distance to train station, walking distance for sight seeing. Friendly hotel in a perfect position. Close to central busses

Generally good for budget hotel but very dated and walls a bit 'grubby' in room. One teabag each a day (but not every day) asked for milk and coffee but was told we had to purchase them at the bar (not open). Bathroom had no screen/blinds etc. at the window except an old plain net curtain - office building close by so difficult to have a shower/use wc without others being able to view! Daily room clean was excellent. Breakfast was just about ok (just about!). After saying this, we would stay again. Owner evidently owns several restaurants in area which is where staff recommend!

Excellent/spotless/very comfortable. Staff were brilliant,breakfast was quality. Seven minutes walk to Termini railway and underground stations. Surrounded by dozens of excellent restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again.

Our first stay in Rome. Hotel only 5/10 min walk from Termini Station so great location. 24 desk. When we arrived they said we hadn't booked a twin room but we said if they can give us extra bedding we can sort the beds. They were quick to sort this. The next day they sorted the room to a twin for us. Decor could have done with a bit of updating but beds very comfortable and room was pleasant. If they wanted to be more sustainable as a hotel they could put signs in the bathroom asking if we wanted towels etc changed everyday. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. Would stay again.
