We stayed here last year and loved it so much that we booked again for April 2024. Unfortunately, when emailing the hotel to request the same rooms as last year they informed us that the hotel was closed for the season. We promptly informed travel republic, who claimed that they were not aware. Given that the hotel informed us less that 24 hrs after we emailed them, I believe that TR either didn't want the hassle of sorting us an alternative accommodation or hadn't even booked us in yet. TR were less than helpful and were interested in helping us. (Not the hotels fault!) I am so glad we emailed the hotel beforehand and that they were so prompt in informing us they were closed, giving us opportunity to sort something before travelling. I dread to think where we would have ended up if we had arrived to an empty hotel!

Closed Indefinitely. its new owners are an investment company who could care two hoots about customers bookings . They will try and palm you off to one of their other hotels. Far more expensive at your expense and offering little in return . Customer booked with Travel Republic 2024 are not being advised totally unacceptable behaviour

I always go all-inclusive find it good value for money, its my forth visit here over the years and it still has the same barmen and restrurant staff. there are some great views to be seen here and very relaxing. i will be back

Great hotel with the most beautiful views no matter where u are in the hotel. We went all inclusive, food choice was very good every night. It was a different theme, bbq, Mexican, Italian, pizza night etc..great selection of starters n desserts. After breakfast, snacks start up which is usually burger and chips or hotdog and chips.. Kids club was very good 1.5 hours each day and then at night they do discos n quizzes. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The terrace area has live music each night, just nice background music to enjoy your drinks. Staff were very helpful. There's a free mini bus that takes you to the main area each hour ( collects you at the beach if I remember right) The cons: Alot alot of steps at the hotel. We just parked our pram at top of the stairs for the week. Heavy suitcases up and down the steps can be tricky. They should just ramp the whole place and do away with the steps. Bedrooms are dated but comfortable. Aircon worked very well in our room. The hotel itself is up a very steep hill. If you go out the front gate and turn right and walk for about 5 mins you will come to a set of stairs that takes u straight to the main area. Not great on the way home, very steep. I would return to this hotel as the pros outweigh the cons.

We stayed here for 1 week AI and had a wonderful time. Our flights were delayed so we arrived just after 11 pm, but check-in was very quick and we were shown to our room in a quiet position at back of hotel and told if we went to the restaurant we would find a cold plate set up for us and drinks, which was much appreciated. All meals are buffet style and the restaurant had some stunning views. Food everyday was good, varied, nice Greek food options, lots fruit, salads, desserts etc. Never found it that busy with nice staff (especially Lica who was very friendly and cheerful) who kept everything tidy and clean. Our room was spacious, cleaned everyday and beds made, lovely bathroom. The bar area and patio are great, nice views again and plenty of seating. Bar staff are helpful, cheerful, funny and entertaining especially Chencho and Andreas who work really hard and always greeted you with a smile. Pools are very good, although we tended to use the smaller quiet pool to the side of the restaurant, where there always plenty of sunbeds and more low key, so we could just sunbathe and relax. Entertainment most evenings low key, but good fun. Enjoyed the quiz nights, my husband got a medal so very happy! Santa Ponsa (The Square) which is just a short 5 minute walk away, turn left out of the hotel and down the hill. We found it to be quiet with some lovely bars, The Crown and The Hogan, always made us very welcome. Also had a lovely Chinese meal one evening, excellent value. Met some nice people. We walked down to Santa Ponsa beach a few times also which took about 15 minutes, harder coming back up the hill but worth the walk. Yes we would recommend this hotel, enjoyable stay and excellent friendly staff. Pete and Lynda

We've been to this hotel lots of times now - think this was our 8th or 9th visit. We've been at different times of year over our visits so feel we know the hotel and area pretty well. This is our 'go to' hotel as we know what we're getting and we know it's nice and easy. The hotel has changed quite abit over the years - some for the good and some not for the good. The differences we noticed this visit is that the hotel seem to be getting abit greedy with regards to the rooms. They wanted to charge us an extra 20 euros per night to have a sea view. Now our sea view had a massive building crane in front of it which woke us up at just gone 8am every morning so I didn't pay any extra and if I had, I would've swiftly asked for my money back. I've never been asked to pay for a sea view here and you would think that they would offer this as an incentive to returning customers. We didn't have young children with us but noticed the animation team didn't interact at all with children or adults. Previously, we've always had daily chats with the animation staff but the staff this year, although seemed pleasant, didn't interact with any customers that we witnessed. Food is still fantastic, atmosphere is still laid back and the views are still amazing. Staff are all fabulous - it was lovely to see Vicente in the restaurant and Chencho in the bar again. All staff members were lovely and a massive credit to the hotel. We'll no doubt return in the next year or two at some point. Hopefully it doesn't change too much!

If anyone tells you this hotel is amazing. Believe them. If anyone tells you it’s not, still believe them. A lot of pros such as mostly excellent staff members. The gentlemen at the bar are awesome. The Lifeguard, Paula, is young but so friendly and knows how to deal with children with such kindness and patience. Johnny from entertainment team is super vibrant and knows how to keep the children entertained. The staff in the kitchen and dining are also amazing. The nearest beach is a 5 minute van ride. The hotel has a free shuttle service which runs once every hour. Philip, one of the drivers is amazing. On one of the trips he offered to drop us to the bus stop cos we weren’t sure where we were going. The area has lots of local buses The views are wonderful. The apartments are spotless and cleaned daily by the most excellent housekeeping team. You have to request for cleaning on Thursdays and Sundays. The apartments are spacious but furniture could use an upgrade. Unfortunately, the beds are terrible. They offered us one extra single bed and mattress as our children couldn’t sleep on the sofa bed provided. The twin beds provided were flimsy and the mattresses uncomfortable. Thin and uncomfortable. The sofa bed even worse. The hotel is set on a hill. The flights of stairs are unending and you don’t get any escort to your room when you first arrive. You have to wander on your own to find it. The food choices are a lot. As an extremely fussy eater I found something to eat at the buffet most days. All the staff work very hard to give the guests a great experience and if I was to rate this place based entirely on their staff it would be a 5/5. Other factors though depreciate the experience to 3/5

We travelled with little expectation but we were pleasantly surprised. Room decor a little dated but very clean. stunning seaview facing the Square. Food very good, plenty of choice. we enjoyed afternoon cards and drinks on the terrace served by lovely staff (in fact all staff very friendly) zero complaints from us. We would happily return

Bit of a mixed review really...we stayed here first week October for 10 nights as a group of four. Location was pretty good, beautiful view from main bar area and walking distance to beach and town. Rooms spacious but dated. Bathroom looked like it had been recently updated which was nice but was a wet room style shower which literally flooded the whole of the bathroom floor everytime we used it,had to direct shower head to far wall and stand right in the very corner to avoid water flooding out. There was a small kitchenette in the room but couldn't imagine anyone really using it. Little to no cooking utensils/cutlery so a bit pointless being there. No milk or powdered milk provided on tea/coffe tray in room. Limited storage for two people. Main bar area quite small and could be difficult to get a table in the evenings especially. Drinks ok,bit weak. Restaurant quite pleasant but also very busy in the evening. Food was ok,fair bit of choice,we always found something we liked. Just to note,we had to pay 39 euros tax per couple on arrival and 23 euros for a key to the safety deposit box in room,on handing back key at check out we were given back 3 euros? Informed by receptionist this isn't 4 star hotel, not free",bit sarcastic! Anyway worth knowing. All in all not bad but not great either probably won't return to this hotel. If you fancy a nice meal out i can recommend El Jardin, left out of hotel, down the hill and to right. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Bar in town on way to beach called Daniels Corner, friendly staff, great cocktails and prices.
