Google maps will not take you to the correct location of the hotel! The address states the hotel is in Leuvehaven; however the hotel and entrance are really on Terwenaker 18 (the small peninsula just east of the main road (Schiedsedijk). You can definitely see the hotel on the peninsula as you’re driving north on the main road, but your GPS / offline Google Maps won’t take you there. Just a tip in case you’re driving to the hotel. Other than that, our room was spacious, comfortable, had its own sauna, and a great view of the river. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Cube Houses and central market area. Overall, we’d stay there again if in Rotterdam!

My husband and I recently took a bicycle trip to Holland and spent one night at the Marriott in Rotterdam. We only wish that every hotel on our trip was as good as this. The Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- they had a special place to lock-up our bikes, helped us do that, spent time with us reviewing a map of the city to decide what to do and where to go, and emailed us additional information. The hotel is in a great central location, across from train station and in walking distance to a lot of sites. The rooms are good-sized, totally modern (great bathrooms!), very quiet, cool (it was warm and we needed air conditioning) and internet worked perfectly. Breakfast is served in a nice room with a great view of the station/city; friendly staff, hot items are cooked to order and the buffet is full of any item you might want. We're just sorry to we only stayed one night.

Although I indicate that I would like a quiet room because of my girlfriend, she appreciates peace and privacy, the receptionist has given me a room near the elevator, room 409. The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to many sights and shops as well as the metro and tram if you want to travel further away. The rooms facing the canal have a nice view but it's a shame the windows are small. There is a good car park next door to the hotel but hotel guests get no discount for parking there (24 Euros per night). Rooms are on the small side but fine for a couple of nights. They include a safe, which is nice to have. The hotel is not cheap, though. Around 200 Euros per night (without breakfast or parking) for a basic hotel chain like Ibis is quite steep. For that money, the hotel should at least make sure the curtains are not full of holes! They don't seem to have family rooms either, so families have to pay for two rooms per night.

The hotel seems like an annex to Hotel Emma in Rotterdam (2 min walking from Umplugged). Room is super cute decorated and clean, and the mattress is amazingly comfortable. Location is also really convenient, close to metro station and 10 min walk from Rotterdam Central Station. There is also a street close by with bars and nice brunch places. We book the hotel with my boyfriend for only one night after a concert in the Rotterdam Ahoy, but it was actually a really good place to stay longer! :)

The location is very good. Just in the city center of Rotterdam. The train station is down for 20 minutes with luggage. It is also very lively. It is both shops and restaurants. The KFC McDonald's Burger King Chinese Restaurant next to the hotel... everything! It is very convenient to walk to markthal and cube house within 10 minutes. Disadvantages: The room is small. The suitcase can only be opened one. There is almost no walking space. The luggage, hair dryer, etc. must be charged separately (I didn’t spend that Money). The check-in time is also very dead and has not been discussed.
