Very bad experience! I stayed in the hotel for 4 days 3 nights but no air conditioning and broken water tap in the first day. Inform the service department to change a new room and they said full House and can change on the next day. So I request for the room to change on next day. However, once I changed the room, the air conditioning was broken and even worse than the first day. I didn’t complain about the service guy and just request for 2 fans. They gave us free drinks for the compensation! To be honest, service of the people there are nice but the hotel was too old and everything was broken. And we booked sofa bed but no one prepare the bed for us until we told them.

Hygiene is good Staff is very friendly Location is not close to underground station, but still manageable to walk to there and easy to find

It’s acceptable when the price is cheap but when it’s over £100 then it snot worth it since the room is kinda small and bathroom is super small.

Every thing is nice but they don’t provide room service for example like if you want to take breakfast then you have to go down not in your room

Room 510 stunk of cigarettes particularly the bathroom. We reported this to reception not long after check in but nothing was done about it and it was like this for the whole of our stay. Breakfast was very busy with big queues and a lot of items had run out despite there still being quite a bit of service time left. A lot of what was there you could tell was cheap ingredients which was a shame as Holiday Inn breakfasts are usually great. It was so basic we didn’t go again despite it being paid for. The fire alarm went off at 5am then stopped so we thought it was a false alarm. It then went off another twice. With a broken ankle and being on the 5th floor this was quite worrying. Upon check in I completed the box about requiring assistance in case of emergency however no one came to the room, not even a phone call. It was upon heading down stairs that another guest coming back up said it was a false alarm. When we checked out I mentioned this and was just told well it was a false alarm so that’s why no one came and it only went off once, this was false and when I challenged this she said her colleague told her it only went off once, she wasn’t working at that time. Very disappointing and quite a worrying situation to be in. Obviously glad it was a false alarm, it was set off in the kitchen, assuming when they were preparing the awful breakfast! Also the room window could open fully which for health and safety there normally should be a latch preventing this, especially on the 5th floor. This wasn’t an issue for me but better to mention these things. The good thing about this hotel is the close proximity to the o2 and public transport.

1st night. Aircon weren't working, no other rooms were available. Gave an extra fan and 1 drink per person, promised a refund as compensation that never happened. 2nd night. They switch us to different room with working aircon, but then wanted us to pay again. We paid upfront and had to show bank statements to proof payment and we them to resolve with agent. Stay was pleasant enough but won't return to this hotel.

Was about 15 minutes walk from hotel to the nearest train station and also an hour or so away by train to the central areas so not the best location wise. Best to compare the relatively low price and good room with the cons of the location if you're looking to go around central London!

We loved the room, quite large for two people and everything was ready when we arrived. They also put heater in our room before we arrived. Had a nice shower and took a great rest. All the staffs were so friendly and helpful. The location also was great, close to Maritime Museum, Christmas market and Prime meridian. The only negative comment could be the breakfast. They can increase the selection but it might be normal for the British cuisine. I have never stayed in bed and breakfast in the UK before. Therefore, it might be normal. Overall, we loved to stay there

Went to a Mayday concert and stayed here for a night. Nothing to complain the location is very convenient about 10-15minute walk from the O2 Stadium.

Spoons in the room for coffee was very dirty. Carpet smells very nasty. Bed was not clean.
