Perfect weekend escape
Beautiful stone farmhouse in a gorgeous setting. Warm hospitality by the owners and an incredible breakfast spread in the morning. We will stay here again.

We had the most fantastic time at this magnificent house for a week in August. A family of 9 - four adults and five children and teenagers. The house is absolutely stunning. Frank and Jose were amazing hosts and really friendly and helpful anytime we needed anything. They even offered to service the rooms half way through the holiday because we had a birthday to celebrate. What a luxury to have ensuite bathrooms in all the rooms! The pool is beautiful, the views from the terrace are breathtaking. There is plenty of space inside, too. The kids enjoyed the games room, and the piano. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with two large fridges and all the pots and pans you could ask for - including a giant paella pan which we put to good use. The barbeque oven in the kitchen is great too. The location is great - just an hour's drive to Barcelona, and only 15 minutes to Igualada with lots of nice shops and cafes and ice cream. Lots of choice of local supermarkets too. Thank you Frank and Jose for welcoming us to this beautiful place and making our trip so special. Gracias, y hasta la proxima :)

Cómo agradecerles a los propietarios de esta joyita de boutique hotel, Fan y José, por un fin de semana inolvidable! El lugar es espectacular, tranquilo y se nota el amor que han puesto en decorar está masía en cada rincón. Las antigüedades son magníficas y hasta con un toque de humor (el inodoro/trono). Gusto exquisito, trato tan atento y afectuoso que me fui con lágrimas en los ojos, sintiendo que dejaba familia detrás. El desayuno un festín y las cenas que cocina Fran con su toque personal absolutamente deliciosas. Nada es imposible para estos dos chicos. José incluso salió al "rescate" de mi hermano, que vino a visitarnos y se sintió intimidado por la montaña. Colchones y almohadas nuevas, sábanas de estupenda calidad y todo el hotel con una pulcritud destacable. Ideal para una escapada romántica o para alquilar toda la masía para un fin de semana largo con amigos. No se arrepentirán!!!!

¿Qué decir del lugar? Magnífico. ¿Qué decir de Fran y Jose? Preciosos. La conjunción de naturaleza, silencio, paraje maravilloso y trato recibido es exquisito. Además del lugar, decorado con un gusto exquisito, habitaciones impolutas y espacios comunes con encanto, el servicio de Fran y Jose es brutal. Te hacen sentir como en casa, te cuentan historias del lugar y sus alrededores. Para finalizar, y no menos importante, Fran es un chef fuera de lo común. Tanto su salmorejo como sus postres son para enmarcar. Desayunos con variedad abundante y con multitud de detalles. Por poneros un ejemplo, más de 10 variedades de bebidas para acompañar vuestro cafe (leche de soja, avena, arroz, etc.). Para resumir, no os lo podéis perder, escapada obligatoria.
