Ibis Styles Haydock

Nice looking modern hotel convenient for the m6. However disappointingly room was a bit dusty - triggering my asthma through the night, shower hoses needed tightened by me to get decent stream of water, and breakfast was past its best at 9am on Saturday morning.

The location was the only positive on what was an extremely uncomfortable stay. I could have slept better in a Sauna or in any other product known for its heat emission. To combat this heat, I opened the window, but this created a noise which meant I would have slept better in a forest during a storm. Then breakfast, oh dear. The sausages were not top quality, and the toaster was diabolical, but I can excuse this. And I am not a picky person, but the fact there were NO HASH BROWNS is a true abomination to the English Breakfast. They clearly haven't bothered investing in Air Conditioning, so where is the remaining money going if not on Hash Browns???

I was impressed with the outlook of the interior entrance. However, kids beds was so uncomfortable and one of the bed has a broken with sharp metal wire hanging upwards which injured my daughter's back. This shows how careless the management team are. overall rooms are way too small for a family the space to move around is via the bathroom area. Staff are OK!. Location: One of the best reason to stay at this hotel would be the location. Quite, traffic less, easy access to superstores such as Costco & fuel, Tesco, Asda fuel, gas station, few takeaway places. Great place for fitness enthusiast. Nice Pub and restaurant at your door step. under a hour away from a beach and not just a beach there are plenty other things to do but not its impossible to enjoy in a day. Number of places to enjoy with your kids. Things to do: Pleasureland (Make sure to advanced book ticket online), Splash World, pedalo Ducks £15 for 2 adults and 2 kids, Huge place to shop around and plenty places to eat. Not far from Trafford Centre. Next time I am back in Manchester I will be visiting Indoor Skydiving place called Beyond, Dyno golf park amazing place to try out with kids £18 for 2 adults 2 kids with Starbucks drink. Parking at Soutport beach at Seafront on Marine Dr costs £8 for whole day (Totally Worth it)

Just leaving this hotel after a one night stay with a coach trip. The hotel is lovely and clean with quirky touches like trumpets lamps and jockey themed rooms even jockey cap lamps. The bar is bright and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were great with quality sausages. The rooms are clean and bright, nice walk in shower and comfortable bed. The staff are amazing looking after our every need. Especially Jackie.There is a private car park and pub next door.

Staff at check-in where wonderful and couldn't assist enough. However, the room key I was given didn't work and was replaced only for this one not to work, 3rd time lucky and that key didn't work either. There was an issue with the battery for the door. The room smelt of paint after being freshly decorated and the shower gel/shampoo containers had not been unlocked.

Staff were lovely, nice little bar & simple but clean room. Will stay again.

Unable to get a drink at the bar on arrival before midnight. Also not allowed to drink our own supplied beer in the reception area, told to do that in a room, so that meant our conversation could have annoyed neighbours. A bad idea for other guests

we visited the Ibis recently, I work in the hospitality industry myself. All I can say is Excellent, the staff were so friendly and helpful. After making a booking error, they were so happy to help me rectify the problem. thank you very much! I would definitely visit again!

Stayed one night on a coach trip. Arrived at 6.40 pm. Check in was very well organised and a coach load of guests were soon in their rooms. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. Dinner was excellent - a good choice of the 3 courses, and the food was tasty. The same can be said for breakfast - well organised and a good choice of food. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful and provided excellent service. Hotels used by coach companies can be very hit and miss, but the Ibis Styles at Haydock exceeded our expectations. Will definitely stay here again.
