We have stayed in Saint John a few times prior to our most recent visit and our room at 1 Chipman Hill was by far the best yet. The property is centrally located within easy walking distance of most everything in the uptown/downtown area. We appreciated the easy entrance into the building and the room was excellent....spacious, clean, and although the room is located in a heritage building, the bathroom was updated while keeping with the historic look in the main room. Beds were comfy. Parking is easy to arrange and communications with the caretaker were clear and prompt. Mary Grace Nepomuceno was an excellent host. We will definitely stay at Chipman Hill Suites on our next visit.

Heritage property, lovely rooms, great area
This heritage property is a wonderful place for accommodations while visiting Saint John, NB. It is in walking distance of numerous restaurants, pubs, cafes around the Uptown Area (although some hills involved!) and near parks. The rooms have wonderful furnishings and amenities; and one of the most comfortable beds ever slept in. The kitchenette is fully equipped if you want to make your own meals on site.
Full marks to the operators for their communications ahead of time; instructions made for clear access to the room. We would stay here again!
