The service & staff at the hotel were faultless. Everyone was helpful & friendly. Breakfast was one of the best we have had, lots of choice, fresh & good quality. Sadly, we checked out early due to the beds and pillows being terribly uncomfortable to the point we couldn’t bare another night. The pillows didn’t fit the covers so we were left with exposed pillow…that made us feel ick. The room was beautiful & the bed was massive but it was pitted, uncomfortable and gave both my husband & I back ache which we never suffer from. It was the noisiest bed we have ever slept in, the slightest movement & the whole family was woken, Including our son who was disappointed to have been given a tiny camp bed tucked behind the dining table in the living area. This was also awful to sleep on and we didn’t realise until the morning we checked out, was broken. Very disappointed in the bed he was provided given the price we paid and the room type we had booked. It was like an after thought or something you would expect in a 3 star resort!
Be careful in the newly refurbished indoor pool, it’s on the colder side & absolutely rammed in summer, no one present to stop the kids using the steam & sauna etc (although they are asked not to when entering) kids were pouring buckets of water on the hot rocks with no adult supervision, the tiled seats were sharp, my son cut his leg as did one other we witnessed. So doesn’t make for a very relaxing swim.
Location is wonderful and the restaurants and great.
