The main restaurant in the hotel works very well,
All staff from waiters to cooks. The Russian-speaking girl at the reception, Anna, is trying very hard. All other services are not trained to work in a 5 star hotel. They are confused about where to bring what, in which room the cake should be. The hotel is half empty, and the reception staff are asking for money for late check-out.

Al Baleed Resort has great location with miles of unspoilt white sand beach. Eating options are limited to only 3 restaurants.
The breakfast at the Salkana restaurant is extremely good with great service from all the staff. However, the dinner buffet for the Indian night was below average with some dishes that did NOT do justice to the Indian Cuisine. There is much room for improvement on food quality and taste.
The Al Mina restaurant (Mediterranean Cuisine) was very disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and general service. On one occasion we had to wait 40 minutes before even the bread & olive oil were brought to the table!

Overall one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Side note; I live in the UAE, where 5 stars hotel are really common.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, the beds super comfy and the washrooms are every woman's dream (lightning, mirrors and amouage amenities).
Staff is super attentive, accommodating and naturally friendly. They actually love what they do and we as guests can feel it's authenticity - which makes everything dining experience really special. The food was beyond delicious and the variety in the buffet made it hard to choose and even harder to not overeat.
Congratulations to the management and leadership of the hotel team - you truly do an amazing job.
I will definitely be back!

Wunderschönes Resort an weissem, fein-pudrigem Sandstrand. Grosse, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer und Villas, bequeme Liegen am Pool und am Strand, stets in reichlicher Anzahl und mit genügend Abstand voneinander platziert. Drei Restaurants mit ausgezeichneter Küche. Halbpension ist empfehlenswert; sie berechtigt, auch in den à la carte Restaurants 3 Gänge nach Wahl zu bestellen. Überhöhte Preise für alle Getränke, vor allem Alkoholika; die absolut überzahlten Weine höchstens von durchschnittlicher Qualität. Hervorragend geschultes, immer freundlich und zuvorkommendes Personal, das einem alle Wünsche von den Augen ablesen möchte. Unbefriedigend das Housekeeping, wer wann was oder überhaupt etwas macht, scheint unklar zu sein, oft klopft es gerade dann, wenn man im Zimmer ist oder ins Zimmer möchte (wo man ja, bei diesem Traumwetter, nicht allzulange und allzuoft im Zimmer ist). Eine absolute Zumutung ist die laute Life-Musik während der Abendessen (auch im Mekong), der niemand richtig zuhört und die in Endlosschlaufe seichte Unterhaltungsmusik spielt, so dass man sich nur noch schreiend unterhalten kann - spätestens ab dem 3. Abend ein reines Ärgernis. Diese Dauerbeschallung in den lauen Abendstunden, wo man gerne ein feines Essen geniesst, das Meer rauschen und die Grillen zirpen hört, ist ein Grund, das Resort für einen nächsten Urlaub zu meiden – schade, wo ja sonst fast alles stimmt.
