Beautiful setting. Rooms were clean, updated, bed was comfortable. I have no complaints! Rachel is sweet and kept in contact through text and was available if you needed her! Highly recommend!

Sacajawea Inn has by far been one of the most unforgetable experiences that I have had while staying at a hotel/motel/Inn. My Fiance' and I were working a fire in the nearby Salmon-Challis NF, and Sacajawea Inn was the perfect mid point for us to settle after a long day of work. From the moment we met Rachel; she made us feel welcome, that no need was above asking for if she was able to accomodate it, and even went so far as to whip up some delicious dinners for my Fiance' and I when she'd prepare dinner for her family in the lobby kitchen. There were so many laughs, stories, and friendships shared in that lobby due to Rachel's incredible outpouring of love and consideration for her patrons. After a little over a month of stay at the Inn; Rachel, her Husband George, and her daughter Kyrsten (who is the phenomenal Housekeeper) became like a second family to us. The incredible amount of work and passion this family has in this Inn shows from the moment you walk through their door, to the day you check out. Thank you Rachel, George, & Kyrsten for welcoming us into your family, and making our stay with you such a memorable one. Now we know we have a home away from home in Salmon Idaho, at Sacajawea Inn ♡

We flew into Salmon for a guided river/white water rafting trip.
The hotel management voluntarily sent a truck to pick us and our gear up. Took us to another hotel for our orientation briefing. Came back and brought us to our rooms. Our stay was short but memorable. Room was clean and comfortable.

The on-site manager needs a raise. I would say she is solely responsible for getting the absolute best out of what she has to work with. She is very welcoming and will do whatever is necessary to improve your stay. It is apparent the property is making improvements and updates, but it is still rather old. Despite that, the two rooms that I rented were absolutely spotless and the beds were very comfortable.
