I first contacted this hotel in early 2023 about staying with them but it was r until June this year that I stayed with them. My stay exceeded my expectations, it really is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are finished to a high standard, the windows offer great sound proofing from the busy street outside. The hotel has a small swimming pool and terrace, which is a good spot to relax. The breakfast is very substantial with a good offering. At nighttime the restaurant serves dinner and has several interesting vegetarian options (not easy to find in Brazil) The staff and owners are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. The Pelourinho area is safe but please be aware of your surroundings at all times. I would recommend the hotel and would use it again should I return to Salvador.

Hotel espetacular e ainda melhor do que esperávamos. Atendimento impecável. Localização não poderia ser melhor: no coração do Pelourinho. Vale a pena uma ida aos Bistrô do hotel, ainda que não esteja hospedado: drinks ótimos e comida maravilhosa!!!

Fantastic boutique hotel. Second time I have stayrd here and would not considrr place in Salvador and adjust itinerary if necessary in order to stay here again

Passar o carnaval hospedada no Casa do Amarelindo foi uma experiência inesquecível. O hotel está localizado no coração do Pelourinho, então bastava uma pequena caminhada para chegarmos ao meio da festa. Além disso, os principais pontos turísticos são todos de fácil acesso, como o Mercado Modelo e o bairro de Santo Antônio. O conforto do quarto era perfeito, com camas confortáveis e lençóis de alta qualidade. O banheiro era antigo, mas todo bem conservado e com a área do banho renovada. Olha, que experiência. Agradeço à simpatia dos proprietários e dos funcionários, em especial ao Luis da recepção que fala um inglês impecável e ajudou muito ao meu amigo americano. Obrigada, obrigada, obrigada! Voltaremos ano que vem, se for possível!

Our stay at Casa do Amarelindo was great. We arrived during the middle of carnival and the front desk staff was very welcoming provided us with all of the information we needed to get around and enjoy the festivities. The hotel has a great location, a nice pool and lovely restaurant and bar with equally great staff. Big thank you to Luis & Rodrigo for being great hosts. I only wish we had planned to stay for longer.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings and buildings around with plenty of history and character. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and informative. Absolutely amazing experience.
There are areas which are not safe to go around but are clearly mentioned during the welcome, so we were well informed by the staff.
The city is beautiful, and we definitely recommend the tours that are on offer. Top recommendation we would have is the tours of the churches and local areas, as there is lots of history to learn of not only how Salvador became, but also the roots of Brazil. We absolutely loved the whole experience.

Un accueil exceptionnel, un personnel au petit soin, un hôtel avec tout ce qu’on attendre d’un tel établissement : équipement, service, piscine et surtout gentillesse ! On se sent « comme à la maison ». Sans oublier la situation exceptionnelle au cœur du Pelourinho. À recommander sans aucune réserve pour un moment de vacances détente et plaisir.
