Whilst the hotel is nice with a great setting, rooms need a bit of a spruce up. We were put at the end of a very long corridor at the end, room 108, with 3 lots of stairs leading down to it, which is a struggle with heavy suitcase and when one of you uses a cane! We had to prompt for our room to be cleaned, I think it was because we were that far away, they'd forgotten about us but once we had asked about it, cleaners came in everyday and did a good job The see through bathrooms are not nice and whilst the shower was great, the design of a small shower screen means the floor gets flooded. Beds and pillows were lovely and comfy. The food was really good with lots of choice and the waiting staff work so hard. Don't take any clothes that crease as there are no irons available. It states there is satellite TV but its mostly German channels but you can watch CNN news in English! The reception staff need training in customer service as at times they were downright rude! We complained to them about how far the room was etc, and they just said that it's up to Jet2 to sort it! Our rep said she'd try and get us a move but we'd been there for 3 days before we saw her so not worth it. Great hotel if you're German, not so great if you're British as you're treated like a 2nd class citizen and I know that when the hotel replies to this, they'll say they treat everyone the same blah, blah but that's just no true.
