Holiday Inn Express San Diego-Sea World Area Reviews

The receptionist was very nice in moving us to a room with roll in shower, breakfast was included in our reservation so its a plus, ample parking. The remote for the shade is not working battery is low we are too tired to go down and have them replace it. Otherwise this is in pretty good location!

The location is very good, very close to the Sea World. You can see the Christmas tree of the Sea World from the room. It is not far from various attractions in the city. Uber can cover all of them in about 10-20 minutes. Trolleys and buses are also very convenient for places farther away. Of course, if you drive yourself, the free parking service provided by the hotel is very considerate. I booked it for this reason at first, although I didn't use it in the end. The only drawback is that the breakfast is a bit simple.

The room is clean and tidy, with plenty of space. There is an indoor parking lot, which is very convenient. Breakfast is from 6 to 10 o'clock, which is very suitable for night owls! I arrived late and forgot to take pictures in the room

Advantages: Free parking, with its own overhead parking lot. Hot tub + swimming pool A few minutes drive to Sea World, more than ten minutes drive to the zoo. There are many restaurants, McDonald's, and Target nearby. The breakfast is good, the oranges are sweet, you can take them at will. There are abundant tea bags in the lobby. Disadvantages: The hotel is very rigid. I booked the first night with Ctrip and added another night on the second day. If I don't change the room, I have to pay at the front desk. If I use the Ctrip order, I have to change the room. The room I stayed in was close to the elevator entrance. The children were very noisy in the morning, all of them were children going out to play. There was a sound of running water in the sewer, which was very noisy. The footsteps upstairs were obvious. The water flow of the basin faucet was very small, and the water flow of the shower was normal. The carpet smelled like an old room.

It was said to be opposite Sea World, but we didn't go to that park. The hotel is very close to the airport, 13 minutes' drive. Also very close to the old town. The room size is relatively large, and three luggages can be placed. The bed and pillows were good. The bathrooms are all dove. Breakfast is the same old American fare. The important thing is to have hot water for making tea.  There is free parking in the underground parking lot and it is very convenient to enter and exit!

Right next to the highway. There is a supermarket, fast food and pharmacy opposite. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. The room is fast standard. The bed is comfortable. Parking is free.

The facilities are relatively clean, the bed is very soft, and the overall decoration is a bit old, not new but well maintained. The room has a microwave and coffee machine. American breakfast is simple, and hot water is provided all day on the first floor. Free overnight parking is provided to guests, which is good.

The front desk was great and patient in solving problems, but the cleaning staff was really unprofessional. They knocked on the door at 10 o'clock to ask for cleaning. After I hung up the Do Not Disturb sign, they came again at 10:30 to ask if you were not going to check out? Please, check-out time is not until 11 o'clock. This is the first time I have encountered such a rush, which lowered the hotel's service quality standards.

The twin suite is large enough, but there are no partitions, it is a large room. There is noise from the facility pipes in the room, and the toilet is more obvious, like the sound from the ventilation ducts. The window faces a small street, and it's a bit noisy, but it's bearable. The hotel has a small front, and the lobby is also small. Breakfast is in the lobby, which is quite cramped. The advantage is that parking is free and the location is good. Our favorite places to eat are red lobster and Phil's BBQ next to it.

The same standard as always, although the appearance does not look good, the bed is still clean!

The hotel is very good and very close to Ocean Park. The American breakfast is made with great care, at least there are new varieties every day, which is very warm. The hotel only provides bottled water once per stay. There is hot water at the front desk or in the gym

The location is super good. There is a super delicious Phil’s bbq next to it. The room is large and the facilities are new. The front desk staff is super friendly. The parking lot is indoors. Overall impeccable. Recommend everyone to stay here
