Exceptionally happy we we went to Lazuli resort. Will defitely come back and spend more time here. We spent 2 nights here with the intent of doing an island hopping tour but my my famiky wanted a break from the hectic schedule at El Nido so we decided to just chill here. Nice resort with good amenitis in a laid back town. I have dabbled in surfing over 10 years ago but gave up since windsurfing was more fun for an avid windsurfer like me. In short I am a beginner surfer and a decent windsurfer, hydrofioler. There was a very friendly and small contingent of local surfers who had a shack adjacent to Lazuli. Since it was a chill out day for us, I decided to get a surfing lesson. Man o man, I am still day dreaming about that sandy beach break, me and a high school batchmate who was also staying at Lazuli had the waves to ourselves. The locals actually gave us priorty on the aves, it was unreal. Surfing right at the resorts doorstep with amenities like swimg pool, airconditioned rooms, good food, island and land tour in an unspoiled setting. If you are a beginner or intermediate surfer, this is 10 times better than Siargao, no crowd and sandy beach break instead of reef break. I think they are hosting a surfing competion at the end of this month. Another unforgetable experience is the fortune of observing giant turtle laying eggs the beach on our first night. Amazing sunset as well. How magical this place is.
