Bon hôtel
L'hôtel peut sembler un peu loin de tout mais grâce à la ligne 66 il est très accessible de la ville de Bonn. On est donc au calme (à part la route juste derrière si on est du mauvais côté de l'hôtel, mais le double vitrage est efficace).
Très bon service, chambre très propre et très fonctionnelle.

Nice spot for an overnight stay but no bar or restaurant which on a bank holiday monday was a bit awkward. Breakfast however very good.

Zweckmäßig, einfaches Inventar und Mobiliar
Baulich gesehen, ist viel Pfusch an der Einrichtung, angefangen von den Silikon Wulsten um die Duscharmatur, Laminat Boden der hinter der Heizung nicht sauber verlegt, Balkontüre durch die es zieht, Kabelverlegung am Fernseher, Rauchmelder,... das hat kein Fachmann ausgeführt. Beim WC Wasserkasten läuft auf Kopfdruck immer die gesamte Wassermenge durch egal wieviel weg zu spülen ist. Die öffentlich rechtlichen Programme können ohne Zusatzkosten in HD. empfangen werden, ist hier aber nicht der Fall.
Alles in allem, etwas zu teuer für die Leistung.
Das Badezimmer ist für zwei Personen viel zu klein.

This is a nice hotel and a good deal for the price. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were simple, but nicely appointed. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and many were bi-lingual (German/English) at a minimum. I noticed that the young lady who checked us in saw that the restaurant needed help, so she went to help in the restaurant so that people received good service. The manager even helped out my son, who is looking to move to Germany and go to university there. The breakfast was a typical traditional German breakfast and was very good, with plenty of variety. I highly recommend this hotel. The only negative would be if you have issues with climbing a couple of flights of stairs, you might want to call them to see if they have an elevator. They may have one, but I did not notice it.

It was too old. No air conditioner. Almost suffocating in the middle of summer. The hotel should be renovated. I could not understand how reviewer gave such high rate.

Das Zimmer im Dachgeschoß war sehr warm 28,9°C. Wenn man nachts das Fenster offen lässt, ist die Straße unangenehm laut. Der aufgestellte Ventilator und die auf Nachfrage gebrachte mobile Klimastation halfen nicht viel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und abwechslungsreich.

We stayed at the Apartment in the Hotel. It’s quite spacious with a large bathroom and a small storage room for the bags. Located on the 2nd floor (there are no lifts), with a high ceiling, we enjoyed our 6 day stay! Amenities in the room included a fridge, microwave, Nespresso and a kettle. Lots of cutlery and crockery too. The Hotel is located at walking distance from Hangelar Mitte railway station, so traveling to Bonn or Sankt Augustin was very easy. Breakfast at the Restaurant downstairs was good, and we liked the good selection of tea! The restaurant also is open in the evening on most week days and we ate there one evening. Service and food were good. Have to mention that cleanliness at the property is of a high standard, room cleaning is done everyday. A few umbrellas were available at the exit which we found useful during the unusually wet summer. We will definitely say here in case we happen to visit the area again!
