The hotel is decent, feeling pretty good. It's considered an older hotel in Sanming, and downstairs there's a hot pot buffet and many snack shops, making it a good choice for travel or business trips. The room was generally clean.

Location and installations are good. Every single hotel in China use to offer water and tea to their guests. I used a small pack of tea and drink water and they charged me CNY 40. It’s not about money but about this bad behavior with customer. Later, after I argued about it, they refund this money.

Great location, great service, only thing is the place due for a renovation.

1. The front desk actually demanded a deposit for a prepaid Ctrip order. I hadn't heard this in over 20 years, and I thought I'd misheard. 2. There were no welcome fruits. After I reminded them, a waiter arrived and threw them in with a look of disgust. For a five-star hotel, the fruit plate looked like something you'd found near the end of the supermarket shelf. 3. The room had a refrigerator, but the outer door was locked—absolutely terrible. 4. The sanitary facilities and amenities were awful. In summary: The service was practically nonexistent, and the room amenities were mid-range for a chain budget hotel. How can this even be rated 5 stars? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐? ???

We went to Sanming during the holidays. When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was very grand. I had heard that the Meiyuan in Sanming had a better environment before, and I really felt it when I came here this time, especially the hotel's service. Because we went out as a family and wanted to book a twin room, it was not available at the time, so we only booked a large bed. I would like to especially praise the boy Xiao Li at the front desk for his very good service. When he heard about our situation, he helped us change to a twin room very enthusiastically. When he learned that we came to Sanming for the first time from other places, he enthusiastically introduced us to the local food and attractions. I like him. It's very heartwarming to think about it now. When I checked out the next day, I happened to meet him again, and he gave us a small gift. This hotel is not cost-effective. Once you enter the room, it feels like you have walked into a supermarket. There are price lists everywhere, and the toilet paper is almost hung with a price list. The hotel facilities are too old and the prices are high. You need to be cautious when staying. To be honest, the breakfast is OK, especially the disposable slippers. I feel like I can't even walk when I put them on. I have to wait a long time to check out without spending anything.
