I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay. We were in suite 9 at the top of the hotel and we were thrilled to have a little outdoor terrace to view the mountains! Alexandra truly stands out as a professional and was a true delight in welcoming us at check in. She offered amazing recommendations for our stay and cooked up delicious breakfasts with her own recipes! I will remember her enthusiastic nature and our stay in Santa Barbara forever!

Booked this very last minute when I found out my Airbnb was not good. I’m so happy with our stay. The staff is so lovely and welcoming and the decor and interiors is beautiful and clean. They offer a warm egg breakfast and baked goods and wine/coffee in the lobby area. It was a breath of fresh air to stay here.

On the surface the hotel is very quaint and appealing. Most rooms are accessible only by stairs. Rooms are modern, bed was comfortable. Decent location. The cons: front desk staff hardly greeted you and did not provide any information on WiFi and basics without being asked. Bed sheets were full of sand and had to ask for clean linens to change. Not a big deal but fireplace did not work. Seems that if this is a selling point , it should be working. Draperies falling off the hooks making it seem they are not into the little details, especially for the price of these rooms. No coffee pot in the room. Refrigerator not working only to discover it has been unplugged. For $350 a night I would have expected much more. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room and breakfast area was very clean Check in and checkout was good and very easy breakfast was awesome the girl at the reception is very friendly I forget to ask her name. We checked in late and the process was streamlined and made extremely simple for us

The team is incredible…who doesn’t love champagne and fresh baked cookies upon arrival. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so cozy! I even forgot something in the fridge after checkout but was still in the area hours later. I called and they had them waiting for me at the front desk.

The receptionists, one alum’23 John and a beautiful blonde from Laguna, both UCSB alum and a senior: they were very kind in sharing with us their insight about UCSB. My daughter Mika and I were there to tour UCSB.The breakfast was delicious too!

Nestled in the semi private villa, our room on the top floor was clean cozy, nice, quaint, and quiet… with a short walk to the beach, and plenty of nice places to have dinner, this was the perfect Hideaway getaway… This will definitely be one of the few favorites spots I revisit in SB…
