Beach vacay with a couple friends. Owner bragged how how lucky we were she didn’t charge more ($300 a night), and how the cleaning crew disinfects the rooms with “Ozone sterilization” and “UV-C lamp”. So our bar was high. GOOD: Location near beach and lower State Street. Fireplace in the bedroom and living room was great! NOT SO GOOD: We got a one bedroom with kitchen. Fold out bed in living room had noisy springs from age and wasn’t comfortable. We had to buy our own mattress cover to get through the week. —TVs are old with no HDMI outlet so we couldn’t watch our own streaming with roku/laptops and were left with repetitive cable and archaic dvd player. —Check-out time is too early. Cleaners DON’T CLEAN DAILY during Covid and there are so few rooms, not sure why it’s so early. -UV/Ozone sterilization means no one wipes down the surfaces and ours were sticky so we did it ourselves. -They don’t clean the kitchen and there is no dishwasher— so nothing is sterilized. Ours dishes were laden with dried food. Extra fee if you don't leave kitchen spotless. —Only one car can park in their lot even though THE STREET PARKING IS RESTRICTED!— so where are you supposed to park overnight? —The living room has no black out curtains and the sun beams in at dawn. —Dark and depressing old decor. Even some wax fruit on the table!
