Gold in Santa Cruz Spousing with my wife for a week in Santa Cruz became the most inspiring time! I spent 6 days at the Ayamara Spanish School and each was special and interesting. The teachings of Hugo, the school principal, was so much more than him just teaching spanish. Hugo teaches a way of life, insights from life lived in Europe and in the states. Intercultural observations that serves to take a new look at your self and all living things on the earth. The teachings came in the form of humorous stories, in spanish, all filled with respect and love for life and all its many beings and forms. I can’t recommend this gem of a place enough. When I come back to Santa Cruz I will make sure to visit Hugo, his lovely dogs and the well assorted vegetarian restaurant at “Plan 3000” once again!!
