Just the standard RUI Hotel setup…unable to get a booking in any of the specialty restaurants. Buffet restaurants the same repetitive food.
Polite cleaning staff.
Reception staff need to be more customer focussed I arrived at 8pm given a keycard and a map and pointed in the direction of the room…no one to help with baggage. Requested late checkout on the RUI app had it confirmed and then I find keycard not working on the day after spending the morning by the pool headed to reception was told I should have requested this at reception…at no point in time did the app state this. I was told that the bell boy had put a note under my door..that’s ok if I could actually get into the room to read it, but there was no note !
Would not say this is a 5* hotel more a 4*.

1) Filthy sun loungers unavailable after 9am. 2) Mainly unhelpful staff on reception. 3) Money stolen from our room, reported but no feedback after a week, when we were going home anyway. 4) Food poisoning three days prior to departing the hotel. 5) African rap music played mainly at the pool 6) Very difficult to book speciality restaurants, very limited availability. 7) Very noisy moving chairs, in the restaurants/bars and more importantly the rooms due to stone flooring. 8) Entertainment programme in the evening was very limited and poor quality.

Amazing staff and lovely food. Guaranteed hot weather all year around. Right next to the beach, access to multiple pools and pool bars. Entertainers were brilliant and kept us entertained each night. Limited options with some food if timed wrong in the afternoon for a snack. Room was nice and clean but not as top notch as other resorts.

Férias maravilhosas neste resort. Os serviços, atendimento e instalações são de qualidade, assim como a comida (variada e saborosa). Quero deixar o meu agradecimento especial ao William, pois é um exemplo de profissional de turismo e de atendimento ao publico, com uma presença notória e de destaque a nível de liderança. A Keila e a Maura são de uma simpatia contagiante e a equipa de animação é fantástica. Deixo só duas notas de melhoria: - O barulho logo às 08 da manhã pela equipa de limpeza - O sorriso da equipa de bar na zona de animação à noite Sem dúvida que repetia a estadia.

Nice hotel, very clean and welcoming. Reception area stank of smoke though, old and new, to the point it had penetrated the soft furnishings. Nasty. Rooms were meticulously cleaned daily with a new swan shaped figurine to marvel at on our beds. The food was good by and all. It's difficult to cater with a huge variety, but what was on offer was very nice. Huge pool gripe. Clear notices NOT to reserve sunbeds, but it happens - daily. I took my picture at 7am!! Nobody there to police the ruling. Thank you for the fuss you made of my birthday. I'm glad I came. Footnote not hotel based. Do not engage with traders on the way to the beach. They'll take you on a tour of all the nasty made in China gift shops and a hideously expensive lunch. Stick with Tui. Entertainment not our thing, but it would have been nice to access the multi downloaded apps, ie Netflix, Amazon etc. Only BBC news available in English. Pretty poor really.

The property was nice but we needed to change rooms due to the moldy-distinctive smell that got one of us sick. For the most part, the staff food, entertainment, amenities were solid but this is not a place i would stay again. Overall 3.8 out of 5
