We checked in and immediately was appalled at the smell our room had. A combination of BO and whatever chemical/cleaning solution they used to try to mask it. The AC was not working properly and opening windows did not help (street view room).
By 8pm on the check-in day we asked the person at the front desk to check out and for a refund. They called the manager and agreed to it, however we were told to cancel through orbitz as we booked through the third party. When we created a ticket to ask for a refund, orbitz customer service said they need to confirm with the manager. After waiting 3 days we got an email saying the Hotel management could not be contacted and did not approve our refund.
This is all addition to the ongoing renovations on the building while we were supposed to stay there AND the door locks not working. So the staff had to go and unlock every guests room each time you would come back to your room.
I recognize that this is a small town, however, if in the hospitality business customers need to be considered a bit more. This place is out to make money even though their hotel and rooms are not suitable for hosting anyone. I do not recommend this "hotel" anyone staying in Santo Tirso.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Santo Tirso. Trotzdem sind die Zimmer sehr ruhig . Garage vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind groß, modern, sehr sauber. Ausgesprochen schönes Bad! Als Gruppe konnten wir mehrere Zimmer anschauen und sie waren alle tipptopp! WLAN und Wasserflaschen sind im Preis inbegriffen. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung für ein drei Sternehotel. Nichts außergewöhnliches, aber wirklich okay. Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Dachterrasse, wohin man sich einen Drink aus der Bar mitnehmen kann. Wirklich zu erwähnen ist das außergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal! Insgesamt ein Volltreffer! Niveau für ein, drei Sternehotel, sehr, sehr gut wir würden jederzeit sofort wieder buchen!

Très bien situé en plein centre. Personnel très attentionné. Chambre confortable (Bof la moquette ;-) et silencieuse (sur cour). Petit déjeuner buffet très complet. Parking fermé (rampe un peu raide). Bonne adresse.

No le.doy las 5 , ya que en nuestra habitación solo había una mesilla (reloj, teléfono etc.. Al suelo por.la.noche). Y tuvimos la.mala suerte de no contar con nevera., las 4 estrellas de deben al buen precio, la limpieza y sobre todo a la.simpatía del personal, su cocina y la.terraza.

A minha recomendação é apenas sobre o restaurante do Hotel porque nunca lá estive hospedada. Sobre a comida não tenho nada a apontar. É simplesmente maravilhosa e o valor do menu executivo compensa imenso. Infelizmente o serviço e organização do mesmo tem deixado muito a desejar nos últimos temos! Por ser um local onde se come barato está sempre cheio (principalmente porque a zona de restaurante é muito pequena). O problema é que o serviço está cada vez mais lento (por norma demoro 1 hora para uma refeição completa) o que torna almoçar lá quase impossível. Hoje havia dois grupos grandes a almoçar e como desde segunda feira (sendo hoje sexta) tento lá comer sem sucesso (por volta daa 13) hoje pedi se podia almoçar na zona de bar onde têm pequenas mesas que raramente são utilizadas. Estive sentada 50 minutos e nesse período comi apenas o prato (um arroz de pato maravilhoso) e bebi uma agua. Acabei por me levantar e sair sem comer entradas, pão, sobremesa ou café (que incluem no menu). No entanto a falta de organização é tanta que um senhor que entrou depois de mim comeu a sua refeição completa (entrada, sopa, prato, sobremesa e café) e esteve lá cerca de 30 minutos apenas. É um sítio super agradável onde eu adorava almoçar (desde a abertura do espaço vou sempre lá comer quando ando por santo riso) no entanto hoje foi a última vez que lá fui. Recomendo a quem for por volta daa 12 e que vá com tempo para esperar. A comida vai realmente compensar 👌

Apenas vou falar do restaurante, onde o espaço é muito agradável o atendimento é muito simpático quanto á comida muito boa face ao preço posso afirmar uma vez que sou da cidade que está acima da média quanto á qualidade. A repetir sempre que possível!!
