A little slice of heaven in the countryside. Beautiful property with comfortable rooms and everything you'd need to relax. The gardens and pool were gorgeous. I ate dinner at the restaurant and it was a gourmet experience. 3 courses for 20 Euro's. But it wasn't the money, it was wonderful. The staff were very nice and the property was spotless. Highly recommend.

J'ai passé un séjour excellent. La seule chose que je regrette c'est qu'Expedia n'indique pas que l'on est a la campagne. Sinon c'était super, le personnel, la chambre, la piscine super.

Op basis van goede reviews hadden wij voor QDP in de Algarve gekozen. Men kan kiezen voor het hotel of voor een appartement. Voor het laatste hadden wij gekozen, wat ons zeer goed is bevallen. Wij hadden een erg vroege aankomst in Faro. Het uiterst vriendelijke personeel heeft er voor gezorgd, dat wij toch eerder konden inchecken. Het appartement maakte onze verwachtingen waar, het is ruim en schoon. Elke dag werd er schoongemaakt. Het terras aan de voorkant geeft een mooi uitzicht op de groene tuin en vijver. QDP is landelijk gesitueerd, waarbij het wel handig is om een auto (en bijv. Google maps) tot je beschikking te hebben. Het is een prima locatie om de Algarve te ontdekken. West-Algarve is het meest bekend, maar oost-Algarve heeft ook z’n pareltjes om te ontdekken. QDP kunnen wij ten zeerste aanraden, voor de rustige omgeving. Maar ook om de Algarve te gaan ontdekken.

Quatrième et dernier hôtel de notre périple Portugais, enfin une bonne surprise, le personnel est accueillant et ce petit hôtel mérite le détour. Situé en dehors de la ville et de son agitation, c’est le repos garanti pour des nuits calmes et réparatrices. Une belle piscine, un environnement soigné et de grandes chambres. Tout est impeccable et les repas sont bons, seul bémol les petits déjeuners de type continental manquent d’originalité, mais c’est souvent le cas au Portugal.

Das Hotel war die erste Station unserer Mietwagenrundreise Algarve/Lissabon und ist für einen Start in der Gegend hervorragend geeignet. Die weitläufige Anlage liegt abseits der Touristenströme auf dem Land. Ein Mietwagen ist schon erforderlich. Faro und Olhão sind bestens für erste Erkundungen zu erreichen. Das Hotel besticht durch seine weitläufige Gartenanlage mit vielen Pflanzen und Gewässern. Die Anlage ist optisch ansprechend. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und kümmert sich um alle Anliegen der Gäste. Im Hotelrestaurant haben wir zweimal zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war sehr ordentlich und das Preisleistungsverhöltnis war völlig ok. Kulinarische Highlights gab‘s allerdings nicht. Abstriche gibt’s beim Zimmer. Das war doch recht schlicht und einfach und auch ein wenig zu klein. Die Einrichtung wirkte lieblos und auch schon ein wenig veraltet. Sauberkeit und Ausstattung war ganz ok … aber ingesamt gibt’s hierfür dann doch einen Punkt Abzug. Insgesamt aber bleibt das das Dos Poetas aber eine gute Empfehlung.

This rural hotel provides for a short/weekend stay in a peaceful setting, in the midst of the Algarve countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. It has an excellent breakfast buffet and a diverse lunch and dinner menu. The hotel and its common grounds are very well maintained. I will certainly go again and recommend the place for a peaceful and relaxing short break.
