The room is a bit old, and there is no fitness center or public bath in the hotel. However, the location is very convenient, offering an optimum room size. I can walk from Sapporo station in only 5-10 minutes (south -west). The breakfast is also good; I love the probiotics Hokkaido juice, complimentary sparkling wine, Nutto, a variety of healthy salad choices, and especially the salmon. Additionally, Mystays-bathroom amenities include a large bottle of DHC soap and shampoo with conditioner.

unable to sleep well, mattress maybe expensive but not comfortable . No mineral water in the room. I notice other guests have that. My observation is that breakfast service depends on the room price that you pay. Personally will not prefer to choose Crowne plaza after this experience . Parking is not reflected correctly in booking website it should be 2000Yen. (+) the staffs can speak good English. There is small gym at first floor

Here's a breakdown: Positives: Location: The biggest advantage is the unbeatable location, right next to Sapporo Station. This offers easy access to public transport, major attractions, and restaurants. Cleanliness: My room was clean and well-maintained, with basic amenities like towels and toiletries provided. Negatives: Snowy walkway: Having to navigate a snow-covered walkway could be inconvenient, especially for travelers with luggage or mobility issues. The hotel might want to consider clearing the snow regularly for better accessibility. No bottled water: The lack of a complimentary bottle of water is a small detail, but it's an additional expense for thirsty guests, especially after a long journey. Small room for 3 adults: A standard room at Nest Hotel is quite small, and with 3 adults, it could feel cramped and uncomfortable. It's important to consider room size when booking, especially for group travel. Overall: Nest Hotel Sapporo Ekimae offers a convenient location and basic amenities at a potentially affordable price. However, the lack of bottled water, potentially small room size for 3 people, and the snowy walkway could be drawbacks for some. Consider your priorities and weigh the pros and cons before booking.

We stayed in nine hotels during our six week Winter visit to Japan; this hotel was the third most stylish but the second most uncomfortable. The corner double room has the right look with a little tea room next to a floor to ceiling window. We had a partial view of the Botanical Gardens which was pretty. The room was uncomfortable for the following reasons: 1. No storage. The room fit out is super minimal but if you have luggage there's nowhere to put it and no hanging space. 2. The designer was going for a zen low lighting experience but the room was so dark we couldn't see anything. There is one dim lamp next to the bed and another low light overhead light. It was so dark we had to borrow desk lamps to be able to see into our suitcases. Maybe the designer was trying to create a moody atmosphere but we found it dreary and depressing. 3. The thermostat has no fine controls - the room was either way too hot or very cold. We chose to turn the heat off and borrow extra blankets and wear extra layers. We chose the corner double room which despite being one of the larger rooms, felt too cramped for a four day stay. The onsen was stylish and cool. The outdoor onsen was set in cute snowscape. Having an onsen with snow around you felt very luxe. Unfortunately this hotel attracts a certain young, nouveau riche clientele who take selfies endlessly in this Instagram ready hotel. There were men taking photos of themselves in the onsen on two occasions; I felt like my privacy had been violated as I was in the same bath. It upset me they didn't respect me enough to abstain from taking video footage. Did they do that just because my partner and I were clearly not Japanese? We enjoyed the authentic breakfast, although I feel like having it once probably would have been enough. The location of the hotel was a bit of a dead zone, unless you love walking there are probably more central locations. If you can't speak Japanese the staff are just OK. I was overcharged and managed to get a refund even despite the language barrier. I would not stay at this hotel again but I did enjoy certain aspects of my stay.

This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!

The service at the front desk was very good. My friend lost her mobile phone. The girl at the front desk was very helpful in helping to translate and contact. Accommodation near subway Odori station, a short walk away. Near tanuki street and can walk to susukino. The rooms are moderately sized. Delicious breakfast There is rice that can be topped with fish roe and shrimp. There is no shared bath, but the hotel has onsen powder for you to use in your room.

Excellent location, services, room cleanness and facilities. You can find a washing machine and microwave oven in your room! The scallops miso soup provided in the breakfast buffet was amazing! Will come back and stay in this hotel next time when I visit Sapporo again 😊

Susukino and Odori are both very good location within walking distance. Also, it is a clean hotel because it is shallow. ２４ Coffee for time is also good. However, the １５００ yen breakfast was a bit poor. １ It is a buffet in the lounge on the floor. If you pay this amount, it is better to have a morning at a nearby coffee shop. Great place! Excellent breakfast! Good service! The hotel is short walk from nakajima koen station, we selected this hotel so we can still see cherry blossoms and it was worth it. The hotel itself is a bit old but still very clean and in good condition. Breakfast includes different varieties of japanese and french pastries. Staffs are very accommodating and courteous. If you have the budget must try 21club wagyu steak.
