Bed missing a caster and tips back and forth. There’s broken trim, chipped paint, and exposed ac wiring. Lamps missing light bulbs and holes in chairs. Clock, phone, and vent don’t work. The “kitchen” has 2 gas burners that look like a fire hazard and 0 dishes or pans, available by request but not including soap or sponge. Worst hotel I have ever been to. Seems like a workaround for a slumlord to take advantage of people who don’t have another choice…

NOT smoke free, it is also home to druggies. The lobby and the rooms smell like pot. We opened the window to air out the room, then could not close the window. The towels were stained. the office chair in the room was stained. I feel sorry for the owners, because this hotel is new and in another two years it will be a dump. I cannot believe they are listing this place.

The guy at the reception, in addition to being unhelpful, seemed to be drugged at work! Dubious clientele. There are no Standards! Laundry ok but there are few machines for the number of rooms they have, you have to wait aaround 1 hour or more to get a machine (and I went in October). it's not very clean. Stay away Smell of ***** all over the place.

Two women traveling for medical appointments. The room was very rundown and did not seem clean. There was pencil graffiti on headboard, a blood stain on a pillowcase, and white stains on the desk chair. Many transient guests, and sketchy visitors. Stay away.

My friend and I were in a bind. We didn’t have a place to stay and we were desperate to get a room. Lori Goulet was the most kind and helpful person we could have asked for. Seriously, she saved us. She was so warm to us right as we walked in and helped us get a room with super short notice. I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Super nice inside, great price for the location and the rooms! It’s beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Thank you for being so helpful to us, we will be coming back for sure!

My experience at Extended Stay America at their Scarborough, Maine location has been so comfortable and pleasant for the entire time I've been there. The management and virtually all the working employees have been so friendly and accommodating! The General Manager, Allyson Underwood, has always gone out of her way to provide anything needed and in a very timely way! She has a wonderful personality and always does whatever she can to make all the customers enjoy their stay! I would definitely recommend this Extended Stay location to anyone and everyone!

Was a pleasant stay, very nice staff, clean, comfortable. Can’t Ask for much more! I enjoyed the kitchenette they offer, you have to request dishes, but you know they’re clean that way since they don’t let them sit in a cabinet until used. Very helpful when it came to finding certain things in the area. Thank you Allyson, Patty, and Lori, they were professional and very helpful!

You get what you pay for and this place was awful. When I arrived the lobby smelled so strongly of smoke I asked the clerk if this was a smoking establishment. She said no, we are a strict non-smoking hotel. Yeah right. Later I saw her right outside the front door smoking with other customers. There were random people ‘hanging’ out in the lobby more like someone‘s personal home. Very shady. The smoke was so bad throughout the entire building. Upstairs walking through the corridor it was a mixture of pot and cigarette smoke. Gross. The hotel caters to a transient population and African refugees like a lot of other area hotels. Very dog friendly hotel. The cops were called one evening for a domestic disruption. The rooms are outdated and cheap looking. The rooms have kitchenettes, but no utensils, plates, pots, etc. you need to go to the front desk for those items. I actually left half way through my stay and booked at another hotel. My new hotel was fabulous. Night and day difference. Don’t book here.
