Holiday Inn Seattle Dwtn Lake Union, an IHG Hotel Reviews

The hotel staff are friendly, but not helpful. The washing machine was not working after I paid and put in the clothes and detergent, then I called the front, then they told me the washing machine is not working. I asked them why didn’t they put out a notice, the front desk said he just found out when I call. At the beginning he asked me to wait till the next morning, then they can call the washing machine company to try to give me a refund. Anyways, they are not sure about if I get refund or not!!! At the end, going back and forth, the front desk agree to refund me in cash and give some detergent to go to another floor for the laundry. I arrive Seattle late around 11pm in the evening with the car. I paid for the daily fee for parking. As I will be leaving Seattle only few hours after checking out, they told me I could not leave the car in the garage until late afternoon because they need the space. I said I paid for a ‘daily fee’, so in principle I should be able to park the car till late afternoon, but they told me not, it is my choice to check in late and they cannot do anything to extend my parking till late afternoon. I asked them if that is the regulation, they should put that down clearly in the description and inform the guests in advance, particularly those international guests who might have another interpretation about the ‘daily fee’. At the end, they allow me to park until 2 pm which is too early for me and I need to change my plan at Seattle completely due to the parking issue. In conclusion, the general attitude is they are sorry if the guest has any problem, but they can’t help much!!!!!

All is well maintained and this hotel is near to a lot of places we want to go to in Seattle.

Nice stay in Seattle. Location was so nice and quiet. But no bathrobe so make sure to bring sleep wear.

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn 3 times recently. Always a pleasure and availability when I need it. Downtown close to TMobile Park and Lumen Field.

In order to see Hamilton, we booked a hotel through trip.com. Unfortunately I had to have an emergency appendectomy a day or 2 before. I contacted Trip.com and asked for a refund. I was told no but maybe they could do something and then I never heard from trip.com again. I only received an email asking how I enjoyed all the hotel amenities(which I never experienced).

The hotel is located in a developing area. It is convenient to reach the Space Needle and Amazon unmanned store within a 10-minute walk. In addition to the toilet, the room is clean and tidy, and the kitchenette has additional zinc plates, refrigerators, and microwaves. Attached is a street view picture of the journey within 5-10 minutes.

The hotel is in a good location, but it is too old. In addition, you have to buy breakfast yourself, which is not very convenient
