"The best and most lowkey location if you wanna visit 90% of Seattle! Friendly and efficient check-in. Real cool lobby. I wish I had used it a little more. Didn't eat or drink there since I was meeting up friends for dinner around town. Several cafés in the area are worth treating yourself to.
Checkout was the easiest process I've ever had. Rooms look a bit cyberpunk/capsule hotel adjacent, but you sleep well and have pretty much everything you need [unless you need a desk for work or something].
Some things to note:
Lights are a bit tricky to dim since they cycle brightness. It would have been great to leave one light on and dim the rest with the power saving feature [also just to keep up the night curtain and lower the day curtain, so I'm not walking in a pitch black room after dinner].
Why not 5 stars all around?
The shower door didn't/couldn't shut all the way, so I used the towels to mop up the wet bathroom floor. Asked at kiosk for extra towels... they never came. At least the floor dried up before I left. Maybe if I made my request using the iPad, it would have happened. This obstacle made my stay not as good as it could have been, but I made do [there are add'l restrooms on the basement level, fortunately]."
"The hotel's setting feels like a resort and it's very conveniently located near the airport. They offer a 24-hour airport shuttle service, with buses departing every 20 minutes. However, the hotel facilities are quite dated. The front desk staff often suggests room upgrades, but these come at an additional charge. If you're driving, be aware that hotel parking is also chargeable, though you can use your room key card for seamless entry and exit."
"The location and environment of the hotel are beyond words, very good. It is very close to the classic Pike Market, Space Needle, the first Starbucks, and Amazon headquarters. It is very suitable for city tourism, but the hotel has a long history and the related facilities are not so modern. The bathroom is small, and the room is large, but the historical decoration feels a bit old-fashioned, which is not suitable for people who are used to living in modern hotels. It is recommended not to eat breakfast in the hotel. It is very close and convenient outside, and the taste is good. I recommend the nearby Peruvian restaurant. For other food, I recommend the seafood in Pike Market and the crab at No. 57. It is served on the table, very rough and fresh. The Chinese restaurant Danguixuan Sichuan cuisine is very authentic. There is a shopping mall near the hotel and Haidilao. Eating there once can satisfy your craving. There are other places to go in Seattle, such as Mount Rainier, which is recommended. Remember to make an appointment, or go there after 5 pm. North Cascade Park is good. I don’t want to go to Olympic Park because I have been to too many forest parks. Visit the Microsoft headquarters. You can take a look at Bellevue. The game company Valve over there is a temple for game fans and a worry for parents. Boeing has seen too many planes, which are everywhere like toys. There are a lot of Chinese people, so you can stay in Seattle for a few days."
"This hotel is centrally located yet feels very safe at night. The room was comfortable, and the views from the high-floor window were absolutely stunning. The surrounding area is very well-equipped; it's a 10-minute walk to Whole Foods, and the shopping center across the street has Haidilao and Din Tai Fung. The hotel's buffet breakfast is $29 per person, and it's a decent-to-good American breakfast with quality ingredients. The hotel description states that extra beds can be added, but be aware that twin rooms do not actually allow for an extra bed."
"Much better than I thought. Great location, very close to Pike Place Market. The service was so-so — I called for slippers and a toothbrush, but they didn’t arrive even after an hour, so I went to the front desk to get them myself. The front desk staff, however, were very helpful."
"This compact hotel in downtown Seattle offers comfortable stays and is conveniently located within walking distance of the Space Needle and other attractions. I loved the visually delightful pineapple motifs and interior design. Plus, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby compared to the hotel's own rates."
"Great place to stay when traveling to/from airport. Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice pool and hot tub area, and had lots of breakfast options. Helpful staff answered all my questions. Also had shuttle service to/from airport so very convenient. Would definitely stay here in the future!"
"The hotel was in a great location and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They had a happy hour from 5-6. The only thing the room was missing was the kettle or coffee in the room and bottles of water. They d8d however Hage water and coffee in the lobby in the mornings. Overall great stay, would visit again."
"Hygiene: clean and tidy, rooms are cleaned in a timely manner
Environment: Great, there is a special smoking area outside the hotel door
Service: First-class service, fast response and thoughtful. My flight was at 4pm and the front desk extended my check-out to 2pm for free! The front desk also helped me weigh my suitcase, carefully converted the pounds into kilograms, and put a sticky note on my suitcase."
"I had request for a quiet zone room. But I got a room on the 2nd floor by the street which traffic started a lound noise since 4 am in the morning!!! Plus, every neighber rooms seems waking up since 5 am and so on. I only had 3 hours sleep here.
Shuttle bus service to/from the SeaTac airport is a plus."

Great
GGuest UserI am going to Seattle for business purposes this time, and I chose Astra Hotel because it is close to my workplace. It is a newly opened hotel, and the rooms are mainly white, giving a very bright and airy feel. The hotel staff is polite, but when I checked in, they forgot to give me breakfast vouchers. Surprisingly, there was no electric kettle in the room, so when I got hungry at night and wanted to make a cup of instant noodles, I had to go to the front desk to ask for help.
The hotel's location is great, it is convenient to go to Space Needle, the lakeside, and even downtown.
GGuest UserVery good, the hotel facilities are very new, the room size is moderate, the only drawback is that breakfast is not provided, and the surrounding neighborhood is not suitable for going out alone at night. The hotel gym facilities are very good.
BBoyangThe first W hotel I stayed in abroad, compared with the positioning of domestic W, Seattle W is more like a domestic modern four-star standard. The location of the hotel is still very good. It is just next to the famous public library. It is also within walking distance from the most famous Pike Place Market. The style of the hotel is also relatively young. It is an atmosphere full of youth and freedom that is admired by young people.
GGuest UserWe had a decent stay at the house. The room is pretty small but it is clean. The common area are nice with dinner table and chairs, but only have 1 living room chair. Kitchen is nice and clean, unfortunately, there were some issues with ants in the kitchen. The major issue with the house is the noise.. as the wall are very thin which when any other guest walking in the common area or talking in their rooms, you pretty much can hear everything. The common area lights are motion sensitive and unfortunately the door gap in our room are bigger than normal, as anyone walks in the hallway, our door frames would lights up at night and wake me up at night. We didn't get too good of a sleep/rest for this reason.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation. You can walk to anywhere! The environment is nice, clean and tidy. Although it is an old hotel, the rooms and bathrooms are not small, and the view from the room is also nice (2336), especially at night. The service attitude of the staff is quite good, and the app used to call a car is also good (Uber), and it arrives very quickly after calling! The staff at the waiting service desk are also very enthusiastic, helping to explain, and also sending the luggage to the car, very responsible! I will come to this hotel again in the future, thank you 🙏🌹

Good
SSherwinF.Location: Excellent, McDonald, space needle, Pop Museum within 5 minutes walk.
Transportation: Very convenient for travel. Only one intersection away from the bus station. Only one transfer is required to the airport.
Space: The bathroom is too small (as shown in the picture), and the size of other things is acceptable.
Environment: Friendly staff, everything is available. Because the room is old, there is a certain smell when you first enter the door, and the smell disappears after turning on the air conditioner. There will be a strange smell in the corridor in the afternoon, but it does not affect the room.
Overall review: The hotel hardware is average but there are no major flaws, it is livable. Especially when the price is obviously one level higher than the nearby hotels.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff are friendly, but not helpful. The washing machine was not working after I paid and put in the clothes and detergent, then I called the front, then they told me the washing machine is not working. I asked them why didn’t they put out a notice, the front desk said he just found out when I call. At the beginning he asked me to wait till the next morning, then they can call the washing machine company to try to give me a refund. Anyways, they are not sure about if I get refund or not!!! At the end, going back and forth, the front desk agree to refund me in cash and give some detergent to go to another floor for the laundry.
I arrive Seattle late around 11pm in the evening with the car. I paid for the daily fee for parking. As I will be leaving Seattle only few hours after checking out, they told me I could not leave the car in the garage until late afternoon because they need the space. I said I paid for a ‘daily fee’, so in principle I should be able to park the car till late afternoon, but they told me not, it is my choice to check in late and they cannot do anything to extend my parking till late afternoon.
I asked them if that is the regulation, they should put that down clearly in the description and inform the guests in advance, particularly those international guests who might have another interpretation about the ‘daily fee’.
At the end, they allow me to park until 2 pm which is too early for me and I need to change my plan at Seattle completely due to the parking issue.
In conclusion, the general attitude is they are sorry if the guest has any problem, but they can’t help much!!!!!
PParkDaehanEven though reviews toward this guest house, which were shown in Google, are rather low, I am satisfied with overall features in the house. Especially if you like using public transportation such as buses and trains in Seattle, the location of the house is rather good. It only takes 10-20 minutes from the house to downtown in Seattle. Also, though the size of the room is rather small, but also it was also enough to sleep. However, the drawback in the house is that you can hear the noises from the other rooms. If you are super-sensitive to hearing noises, then I wouldn't recommend the place. However, if you are not sensitive to it, then probably it would be fine.
CcauliflowerI visited with my family. The lobby desk staff was so friendly and I felt good. I also had breakfast at the restaurant below because I used my destination fee points. They were friendly and the food was good. The location was relatively safer than the market area, so I liked it.
