Find the Cheap Sennen Cove Hotels

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous room with great sea view. Well appointed bathroom with huge fluffy towels and lovely toiletries. Super food….really excellent fish and chips. Great location. All in all, a very special place to stay.

The entire hotel has only a ”new start” and a newly built hut ”Penwith” with only ”4 rooms” can live in, all the rooms in the main hotel are very shabby and more hotel than a hotel. The 16-square-meter ”Penwith 4” room type I stayed in is already the second highest-level room type in this hotel, and I have to try my luck... I can't choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 when booking. To summarize: room types 1 and 2 are on the first floor, room types 3 and 4 need to go up through a very narrow corridor, which is very inconvenient to carry large luggage; the bed is very soft and there are a lot of hair on the floor. Cobwebs, the bathroom area is about 6 square meters, ”compared to” the feeling of the guest room... it's quite spacious. Breakfast is the most common English breakfast...no surprises, and nothing special. Because it is a guest... so parking is free. Because it is near the sea, the wind is particularly strong. There is nothing worth spending time around. Unless you are visiting the small town of Penzance 10 miles away, the recommended stay for two nights is the limit. Living in this place does not have the term ”enjoy”, it is just for ”staying down”, and the price is low!

Breakfast is good, in a small town, below is a bar, I will rest after 11 o’clock, two beds, sleep quite comfortable, breakfast is a typical English breakfast, you will be asked what you eat, you can choose

We had 3 meals in our week celebrating our honeymoon, all were lovely and the staff very attentive, it's a great little pub with plenty of atmosphere and great choice of beers ,the new fireplace had just been completed but we didn't get to see it in all it's splendour, oh well best go back next year !

We stayed at Torwood House for 5 nights in September 2020. Our room was huge & had everything we could wish for - kettle & hot drinks facilities, lovely shower with ample hot water, comfy bed & convenient location to walk to restaurants and along the bay. Perfect if you are heading off to the Isles of Scilly as we did. Our family of grown up kids joined us for two nights and they also stayed in a large room. Steve cooked delicious breakfasts and nothing was too much trouble for Lynda. As we had to depart really early for the ferry to St Mary's, Lynda kindly supplied us with a packed breakfast to eat on the ferry. Many thanks to both of you for a fantastic stay. Needed an overnight stop In Penzance, not too far from the town, and picked The Beachfield due ti its proximity and appearance. The building is about a mile from the railway station, approx. mid way between Penzance and Newlyn, and is a grand building, dating from the 1880's. Was given a warm and friendly greeting, the single room I booked being on the 1st floor, and was comfortable and well stocked with all the facilities you would expect and require. The accommodation no longer provide evening meals, hence they are not classed as a hotel any longer, but there are ample places to eat a variety of meals very close by, so this is not a real issue. In all other aspects, this is a traditional hotel. with a cosy residents bar, ample areas to read or relax, and a magnificent breakfast served in a lovely dining area, with views across the seafront. Some rooms have views overlooking the promenade although as I was only staying for one night, this was not important for me. The bedroom was very comfy, quiet, and I had a very good night's sleep. This was a lovely overnight break, and the Beachfield comes highly recommended on my brief experience.
