This was our first visit to South Korea and we are so glad we stayed at this hotel! Great location, everything you need is close at hand and there is a direct bus (#6002) from the airport straight to the hotel!

Central in the university area, surrounded by bars and small restaurants, good rooms clean and with decent space and good bed and bathroom. Friendly staff. Good price for what you get.

Service - Excellent. The receptionists can speak English well, polite and helpful. Even the housekeepers aunties were very nice and friendly :) A few instances to share: email communications on luggage storage prior to my check in date and the availability of iron and board - they replied in a nice manner and promptly. Over the counter, they helped us to check and ensured the places we wanted to visit (Chuseok Holidays) were opened before heading there. Room - Good size. Clean. Interior decor for each rooms is different I believe (we booked 2 rooms). We didn't have much view as we were allocated at a lower level which were totally fine with us. A good selection of TV channels. Location - Good. A small supermarket, a few convenient shops, cafes and eateries are just nearby. Hongdae Shopping street is just a 3-5 minute walk away. Hongik University Station Exit 9 is about 6 minutes walk. Airport bus stop (Bus 6002) is just a 2 minute walk. The only feedback I have for this hotel is the cups - hoping they could use real cups instead of paper cups.

Hotel location is excellent. Short walking distance to Hongdae shopping street. Hotel is surrounded by plenty of eateries. Hotel room is cosy. Sleep was comfortable.

Room was comfy, no frills hotel. Was provided with paper disposable cups without stirrer, so it’s hard to make hot drinks in the room Love the toilet with the bathtub and bidet

Hi, I really love the location, and the concierge staffs were excellent. But unfortunately, the housekeeping cleanliness needs to be improved by a lot. The second last day of my “make up room” Hanger were left on the table, and my bedside table weren’t cleaned. The bed seem abruptly made up. The worse part is, I am suspecting that I might have some bugs bitten; woke up to some red itchy spots (not a lot for now). I want to emphasise that the location, and the concierge service staffs are really really good. I was just not lucky with the cleanliness for me room. But my family in other rooms have no problem and enjoyed their stay. Location is really good for food and shopping. Literally walking distance a stone throw away from Hongdae street really!

Nice place nice vibe nice location

Hotel is located right in Hongdae. Within 5 minutes walk to Hongik metro station. Many convenience stores just a stone’s throw away. The decor is so cool and trendy. Check in and check out process are a breeze. Reception staff are polite and proficient in English. The room I booked came with a sound bar that I can connect via Bluetooth. Bed was comfy and faced the windows to enjoy the city view. The bathtub, showering area and toilet are separated. Great stay!

Clean room, friendly staff with prompt service, and the great location makes it a great place to stay in Hongdae. However, the open bath tub space is a bit confusing bcs it can barely protect privacy. Otherwise it is perfect.

Could have install a curtain for the shower, water splashed all over the floor. Didn’t notice the check out time is 10am when i book, it’s a bit too early.

Dirty and I mean DIRTY, dark, unwelcoming, inefficient. Nothing but a bed. The windows are essentially two holes in the wall. Barely any sunlight at any time. Unbelievably dirty too so even less than zero sunlight. Mind if you like to come home for an afternoon rest during peak heat hours. The cleanliness of rather complete lack thereof is a huge issue. At first we seriously contemplated moving to a reputable hotel across the road (hongik exit 1) we had previously stayed at but failed to book a room as it was late in the evening. So we decided to make it work with what we could obtain from a nearby daiso. The stay might as well be called experiential, I literally had to clean the room myself upon arrival for the first time in my life. We bought wet wipes and cleaned the surfaces. Believe me when I say the wipes were BLACK. Used all 150 pieces on one room. No one ever touched the mirror frame, the upper shelves, ever. I washed the windows inside and out where I could reach. In a HOTEL. Like, I have stayed in a 3-star hotel more than once and this is just not how it is supposed to look. The floors dirty, slippers not disposable, the rubber multi use ones. Obviously no mention of previous disinfection and even if there had been one I wouldn't have believed it anymore. Towels stained, no explanation needed. Bought room slippers and shower slippers, too. I just couldn't bring myself to be there barefoot. Laid the sink with a towel and bought glass not paper glasses to store toothbrushes and such. I simply avoided looking below the sink the whole time after noticing the amount of dust on the floor. Common areas are rather dirty too, the carpet in the hall had something white smeared on it the whole time, no one bothered to clean. Just 3 hangers, which I didn't even try to comprehend in a room intended to house two adults. No room for storing clothes so we had to live with our suitcases open which is a shame. No shelves, no cupboard, no towel hangers but one near a window with curtained so dusty I avoided touching them. Noise insulation is poor, we could hear people staying above, people in the hall, sounds of a laundry or pipes. The toilet is also super loud so waking up if your partner uses the bathroom at night is guaranteed. Bottom line not recommended mainly due to cleanliness issues

Really big room . Clean and vintage styled. Definately stay again in October when I come again
