Ormond Group Hotels in Sepang

This is our second time staying here, and we really love the location. It is super close to the airport, making it extremely convenient for grabbing food nearby or heading out for early flights. You can walk there in no time, so you never have to worry about traffic, and everything feels completely within your control. That part is fantastic. However, there are a few issues: 1. Cleanliness: Don't expect the hygiene standards of a proper hotel; it feels more like a guesthouse. It's clear they haven't maintained strict quality control in that area. 2. Breakfast: We tried their breakfast. It's very ordinary, not amazing, but not terrible either, just an earnest effort on their part. 3. Noise: Because of our transit schedule, we were waking up around 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning, and every time we stepped out of our room, there were tons of birds chirping right outside the door. 4. Door design and safety: The room doors are poorly designed. You have to slam them shut hard; otherwise, they stay partially open and won't latch, which raises real security concerns. 5. Maintenance: I stayed in room 365, and the bathroom sink leaked the whole time I was washing my face, water kept dripping down into the basin, which was really frustrating.

I intentionally booked this hotel because I had a very early flight. I'd only be there for half a day, sleeping less than 4 hours. From KLIA T2, you have to walk to the Tune Hotel there to catch the shuttle to the Tune Hotel in Aeropolis. It's quite a 30-minute trip. If it's in the early morning, it's about 15 minutes. Overall, it's very comfortable for a layover.
