Friendly staff, very clean room with everything needed. Restaurant staff helpful and good quality breakfast.

Our stay was mostly comfortable in this good otel well situated with good parking. Herating the room took some while and had to be set at 30 degrees on advice when booking in. Our excutive room only had one armchair for 2 people but there was a hard sofa placed directly under a television which was unsuitable for viewing. The only way to get aproper view was being in bed. However we did not go there to watch television and had a great time at the Stag theatre. We slept well in a comfy king bed. Breakfast was a shambles we checked in and were told to select a table of our choice. Alas every table was taken and clearly it was tightly packed and accessing the buffet meant passing tables with hardly any room. The rush may have been influenced by the previous night dinner dance but even so the breakfast room is not big enough to cater for a full house. Fortunately we won first prize by being seated in the bar which was quiet and not crowded so we enjoyed our breakfast which was a vastly improved affair than being in the breakfast room. On leaving we found that reception was unmanned which was at a time that guests often check out. We had already paid so we just left our key and left. Do not get the wrong impression as we did enjoy our stay but it could have been better. We would stay again.

Donnington manor is a typical outside M25 hotel. It has all the promise but no real idea what it means. For example no staff after midnight, missing shower components etc. it feels like you’re constantly stuck in a local office Xmas party… Overnight the telephone to the kitchen (on 408) and reception (on 0) go unanswered. At the bar they commence line cleaning at 8pm on a Wednesday. Food advertised at 24/7 is well…not. The bar food is reasonable but is a little pricey espically with the service charge, even just for drinks. This is a poor hotel dressed up as a better one compared to Premier Inn etc . They do have regular room service and good Wi-Fi etc. Better to travel to Orpington or Tonbridge in my opinion…

Well what can I say from the moment myself and my wife walked in to the hotel it was amazing staff was incredible the room was fantastic and the restaurant was incredible definitely the best steak I've ever had we will definitely be staying again

A great hotel in a good location. Stayed for the weekend. Room very clean and a comfortable bed. Our food experience was excellent. Enough to choose from with, I think, something to suit everyone. The breakfast bar offeted a full English breakfast which was hot and fresh. Also the usual cereals, fruit, toast etc. Would definitely stay again.
