Club Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge

Wyndham cancelled our reservation with no notice and left our family without a vacation. I have tried to call and rectify the situation, but all they are able to tell me is that our reservation was given to someone else and they are not able to help me.

This was the easiest resort I have ever checked into. No pushy sales people, checked in, got a great coupon book, went to the room, it was wonderful, furniture updated, Kitchen everything was wonderful. The staff, WOW, everyone was so nice and offered us help all week. Extra towels, no charge, anything we needed they were there to help. Love this place. Will be going back in the future.

Our family of six had a great trip to a great resort in the great Smoky Mountains! We highly recommend this resort, and it is close to many attractions as well as the national park. Everyone was very friendly and our room was spacious and clean.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the location of the resort was great. There was plenty of attractions near by and the waterpark was great. I am looking forward to my next stay there this summer.

Very nice and comfortable with all the amenities of a condo. When staying in a tourist trap, like pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, it is nice to have a full kitchen that you can prepare your own meals. Wyndham group is consistently high-quality, and I look forward to staying in some of their other locations.

A great resort, Oreos if you have children. Our unit faced Hwy 66 which can be noisy, plus consrruction was happening outside of our building 6, not related to the resort. This went into the night, many nights. Our unit had comfortable bedding , good tvs, large master bath, king bed, ice maker, Wi-Fi. A large balcony. A negative about our master bedroom would be, the heat/ air exchanger was adjacent to the room and the design of the ductwork make for loud air flow from the air duct in the room We did not use the water park, bar, snack areas nor any of the other facilities in the resort

Nice indoor waterpark a lot closer than the beaches. This was our fifth or sixth stay at this location. My daughter was born in January and always seems to miss out on her birthday because everybody is so burned out from Christmas. We do experience gifts for her now, and this has been one of her repeat favorites. This year though, she said she feels like she is outgrowing it. Overall, the property is geared more toward younger kids and families. Their (removed) indoor-outdoor experience used to be where the adults would really spend their time. They could get in the indoor side of the hot tub, walk through a wall flap and be in the TRUE outdoors. Don't let their advertising fool you - the *new* indoor/outdoor hot tub replacement is a disappointment in comparison to what they used to have. We used to be able to escape the noise and lights and most kids by going to the outdoor part. Not anymore. The "new" one is just the old patio swimming pool that was split in half and had the cool waterfall turned off. You're not truly outdoors now - you're in a crowded, noisy, lighted and fully enclosed room. No more seeing the stars. No more escaping the kids (anyone 5 and up is allowed) and it's in a shared room with what is now a half-pool with a basketball hoop in it - so lots of kids screaming and playing water basketball. The new additions to the waterpark are awesome. The water coaster is a great ride and a great addition. It just came at great expense of the one true water respite the park offers that adults enjoyed.

Had an amazing time rooms were spacious for all 5 of us with a full kitchen 2 full baths. It had a jet tub that was amazing after a long day at the water park. The kids coils be let free at the amazing 10,000 sq ft water park and the parents could set and talk with friends or go have fun as well. The resort had everything right on site; restaurants, snacks, games, fun, and sleep!! It was amazing we will be back!

Lots of neat little shops and places to eat inside the resort. We had three children with us and four adults and we all had a wonderful time. It's very close to Dollywood, grocery stores and even this time of year December 17th through the 22nd, the traffic was not that bad going out to do any shopping.
