Shah Alam Hotels with Bars

Great hospitality. From bellman, front desk staff to cafe staff all were friendly. We are having our good time here. Its just the place is away from the centre. Overall i might say its a good place to stay. Thanks

The view from the 12th floor overlooking the mosque is quite exciting, the accommodation in the center of Shah Alam is comfortable and clean. Plenty of multi-level parking spaces complete with electric vehicle charging facilities. The food and drinks served are also delicious and appetizing

Room was nicely in size, comfortable, clean.. Shower room and toilet are separated.. Location wise it depend on what ur stay for.. It is located near factories area.. Around the hotel there are multiple condo/apartment of almost similar design building with the hotel.. About 15-20 min drive to stadium shah alam/aeon shah alam.. Amenities like iron, iron board, dental kit, shaving kit are provide upon request, they mention as a step for greener world.. Water heater work well.. Air cond also work well.. Gym was okay.. Basic machine that can cover full body exercises..

Service was superb.. From the time that we step in till we went up to rooms. Hotel was clean and nice ambience. Good job too all the staff who put a lot effort for full fill guest satisfaction . Welcome cookies it’s a nice gesture 😉 And not to forget compliments Dhurga from Front Dest . Serve us with polite and respectful service. Thumbs up 👍🏽

All great with the hotel. The staff help me a lot with booking that trip.com didnt inform me that my check in date have changed. Solution that trip.com give me to topup with my own money & claim later instead of deal directly with hotel agent to check in me directly. Luckily staff hotel help me to check in on that day.

Almost everything about this hotel was great: great location, great room, clean and cosy and nice swimming pool for kids to enjoy. Only one thing that is needed for improvement - drinking/mineral water supply was not provided in the room. I am not sure if any water filter provided, I did not ask as we were quite busy outside and bought our own mineral water. Overall, we are happy and enjoy our stay.

After staying in the same hotel for the last 30 years…..a little sad to see the hotel growing old……aircon not adjustable, room service very poor (check in without even basic tea bag, 2nd day shock to see they clean the bed but forgot the toilet with no changed towels and no water replenishment)

Suite was great, this is the first one I've seen toiletries provided by Acca Kappa instead of Crabtree & Evelyn. Liked it a lot! The welcome dessert and handwritten letter was a nice touch. Complimentary tea-time were provided as there is no executive lounge. DT Putrajaya provides better tea-time as we can order unlimited drinks there and it comes with a tower of high-tea dessert but nevertheless, better than nothing. For the clickity sound in room, seems like there's a motion sensor equipped in all area including toilet. So it won't disturb your sleep unless there is huge movement all over the place. Room somehow were equipped with auto switch off everything when guest left the room and my wife/baby were stranded in darkness at night without AC twice when I went out to get something. During check-in, I requested for late checkout and it was confirmed at 3pm, but we got call at 12pm for checkout the next day, luckily it is just communication breakdown and were rectified after that. We requested for a scissors to cut soap packet for cleaning baby utensil but it took 3 calls and more than 30 minutes to get it due to security/safety concern as they needed to get management approval and we needed to cut it right in front of staff and return the scissors immediately. Perhaps some improvement can be done here. Breakfast variety is great, Celine did a good job on asking us about our stay and we did feedback regarding the electricity cut-off at night and she immediately contacted Engineering team after that. Overall, this is a very modern and clean hotel. The hotel itself is a benchmark for all other DoubleTree in term of class and comforts, but customer service and communication wise can be improve further. :)
