The room was clean and tidy, the Air conditioner worked well and the bathroom was also clean with plenty of towels. The price was right for our budget minded trip. There were restaurants nearby and a quaint Old Route 66 gas station across the way. The manager wea friendly and full of tips. We had a pleasant stay

Shamrock, TX ist ein weiterer Höhepunkt auf meiner Reise auf der alten Route 66. Es gibt viele der sog. Chain Motels die ich aber nicht mag. Das Wester Motel liegt mitten im Ort, direkt gegenüber der legendären alten im Art Deco Style gebauten Tankstelle. Wer fragt bekommt genau gegenüber dieser Tankstelle das Zimmer mit der Nr. 224! Von hier hat man den besten Ausblick 😍 Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber.

This was the perfect motel for staying on the Route 66 road. The owner was such a great person. He was very aware of everything in the area and was very, very helpful with what to do along the way and even gave us brochures of things to do. Gave us great eating options too. He also supported other locals. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped here with a U-Haul truck and car trailer. Parking is ample and very well lit. The room was very clean, neat, and comfortable, with a good view of the parking lot. The owners are a pleasure to talk to, and I make it a point to stay here on my numerous trips across the country.

I would highly recommend this hotel if traveling down Route 66! The room was very clean and quite spacious. I had a mini fridge and microwave, work desk and even small table with 2 chairs! For the price this is definitely top notch! And it’s right across the street from the famous Conoco station!! I try to support these locally owned motels when I can and glad I chose the Western Motel!

I have had some bad experiences with small local motels but we decided to take a chance with Western Motel. I was very pleased with my stay. The room was a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable and the price was great. The gentleman manning the front counter was very pleasant and helpful. I would have no problem with staying here again.
