Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Bund Jiujiang Road)

Good location, cheap price because it is an old renovated building. Staff are attentive. Breakfast is a simple but delicious Chinese food set in a bag. There is no refrigerator/closet. Personally like it and my family is satisfied.

The room facilities are extremely poor. The shower door is broken. The room is so small that it is difficult to open a 20-inch box. The entrance door is broken and cannot be closed. The window needs to be pried down with a rod to close it. The sound insulation of the room is extremely poor. It is completely separated by color steel plates. The service seems okay on the surface, but it is not very good. My wife caught a cold and had a fever. I was afraid that it would be passed on to the child, so I planned to open another room next door. I specifically asked the front desk that there was a room, but the room I opened was a room far away from these ten rooms. I was not familiar with the order of hotel rooms. After negotiation, I opened a room three rooms away. I was shocked when I entered. I thought that the rooms in this hotel were all so small, but I didn’t expect the room three rooms away to be so big and the conditions were much better. Although the room had pillars, it was very large, the bathroom was also very large, and the door was also good (see Figure 3 and Figure 4). These two types of rooms are actually the same price! If it weren’t for the special circumstances that opened an extra room on the second day of my stay, I wouldn’t have known that they were treated differently.
