Worth it for the price. You get a single room to yourself which was bigger than i thought it would be. Toilets are shared, note that they dont provide shower slippers. Overall a no frills hostel that is decently clean, slightly run down due to wear and tear but still a pleasant stay. Service wise the male receptionist was nice but the female receptionist had a bit of an attitude which i dont appreciate. They have dyson hairdryers though

Very nice and welcoming staff. They let me access to my room 2 hours earlier and checkout a bit later as well. Very convenient.

The hostel was good. The little single rooms are very cozy and comfortable and even though there were a lot of people in my hallway it wasn‘t very noisy. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but I guess it‘s always like this at these kind of hostels. The staff spoke english and were nice and helpful.

Good for a single traveler, cheap and clean, with good location (~20-25 min on foot from People Square). Advise to add extra 30-50 yuan and book a single room, they’re small but clean.

This hostel, although modern, is extremely dirty, I do not recommend it to anyone. I have visited a lot of hostels during my travels and I have rarely come across dirty establishments at this price. The toilets are not cleaned, the trash cans are not emptied and there are constantly leftover expired food in the common areas. The clientele is 90% Chinese and no one speaks English. This is clearly a hostel intended for Chinese and not for internationals, as the name might suggest. I was disappointed with my experience and do not recommend this experience to anyone.

Good for solo youth who is looking for a small private room similar to capsule hotel but more facilities. You get to have a small sort of desk and chair to work on your laptop. The place is quite well-equipped with shared bathroom, soap, hair dryer, small towel, waching machine+dryer. There's a limit time used of hair dryer and washing machine due to loud noise as well, around 9am-10pm (check the sign again). You might wanna prepare your own shampoo, conditioner, and slippers for bathroom. Toilet and trash can are cleaned every morning, so at night time will start to be a bit dirty. If you're sensitive about toilet might need to manage your time again. Overall this place fits my personal needs as a solo digital nomad traveler. Walkable to a giant shopping mall where you can find plenty of food, walkable to metro, basic facilities provided. I give 4/5!

Everything was fine, the location was good and the amenities were fine. The smell in the bathroom could be a bit better because it was a bit smelly, but apart from that all good. Definitely better that other hostels in Shanghai and I would definitely come back there

It was a nice stay. Had a single room and was bigger than I expected from the pictures. Cleanliness wasn’t the best. They really need to improve on the cleaning of the restrooms they were always in disarray. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Easy access to metros and about a mile and a half walk to the bund.

If you want to find the hostel quickly, you should definitely enter the trip.com address in Apple Maps. This will save you a lot of drama. The hostel has USB charging sockets on the beds, super black-out curtains and lots of snack options. The staff were very friendly, but you shouldn't assume that everyone speaks English. The location is good and within walking distance of the Qufu metro station.

There is this kind of independent small room at a very affordable price in this central area. It is very good. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

Traveling alone in Shanghai, the environment of the female quad room is quite good. The room is equipped with a clothes hanger, which is also very convenient. There is a paid washing machine and a public washbasin. There is a free water dispenser next to the washbasin to adjust the water temperature, which is very convenient. The bathhouse and toilet are separated by men and women, which is relatively clean. The hair dryer is of good quality. There is a public rest area where you can sit and eat takeout. The price is quite good in the center of Shanghai. It is super close to Jing'an Joy City, and it takes only five minutes to walk.
