It's only 10 minutes away from Disneyland by car. You can ride to the end of the trip and then take a ride back to the B&B. The sound insulation equipment of the B&B is very poor. Because I returned to the B&B very late, I didn't dare to take a shower and blow dry my hair (I stayed on the 3rd floor and listened to the sound of the hair dryer on the 2nd floor). Everything was fine. The room was cozy and nice. However you must leave your shoes in the locker as soon as you arrive at the hotel and there are no slippers or flip-flops in the room, and not everyone likes walk barefoot. However, not everyone feels comfortable to walk around naked, and they don't give you a big towel. So bring your own towel when you book the hotel, if you mind walking naked. Although, breakfast was nice and bus service from the hotel to Disney Land and back was very convenient.

I booked this hotel after seeing the ratings online. I will also give a brief account of my experience of living here. Because it was my first time staying in a homestay, I got off the subway and came to Mengkeqi with a nervous mood. I don't know if the name Mengkeqi means that the boss hopes that the miracle in the dream will happen, but I feel that the hope in the dream has appeared. People who live in hotels hope that it will be clean, beautiful environment, and good service, and all this can come true here. First of all, the design here has Mickey elements. The house is mainly white, with a touch of purple, and the overall clean and bright. Secondly, there are no right angles in the room decoration, and the corners are rounded, giving people a sense of security; the room has smart voice, projector, and the toilet in the bathroom has disposable seat covers and liquid disinfectant for guests to choose; there are swings in the yard, ocean balls for children to play, and cat houses, where cat lovers can play with cats. It can be seen that the boss is very attentive to details. Finally, let's talk about the service. The breakfast is rich, and the car pick-up and drop-off to Disneyland. It happened to rain when we left. Mengkeqi kindly gave us an umbrella and sent us to the station. Overall, the decoration is personalized and the service is humane. This is my personal feeling. We booked in this area because of it's proximity to Disneyland. I found the ladies working there to be very friendly and helpful, they had recommendations and advice for us. The reason for scoring lower on cleanliness is that there are currently ongoing renovations, the room was quite dusty because of this and there were odor remover packs in the room. The noise from the renovations prevented my daughter from having a nap in the daytime. They do pack up and the evening had no building sounds. The decor is very attractive for little girls, they loved the bunk bed and pink walls. The hotel also has a very convenient bus transfer to Disney early enough to get a comfortable space in the queue and a return bus after the final show and Disney closes. If taking the morning shuttle put aside some extra time because the hotel is very busy with Disney families and there is only one elevator. As part of the whole Disney experience with wanting somewhere affordable to stay I would recommend the hotel- maybe more so after the renovations are complete.

The room facilities are complete, clean and tidy, there are Disney-themed wallpapers in the room, the front desk service is very good, and it is a very good experience overall, but the sound insulation is not very good.

We stayed in this hotel because it was close to disneyland and it had a swimming pool, but unfortunately when we arrived there the swimming pool ass very dirty and wasn't able to use it. The rooms were very nice and modern but not clean, we found a cigarette behind the bathroom door, a dirty tissue next to the bath and a dead insect behind the toilet. The hotel provides a free bus to disneyland and back which is great because it's very difficult to get a taxi and the lady at reception was very helpful and professional. The swimming must be cleaned for the guest to use or the guest must be notified in advance and the bedrooms must be cleaner

Because of the typhoon, the two B&Bs I originally booked had power outages when I came to Shanghai. It was a blessing in disguise, so I chose this one temporarily. I felt that the room was particularly clean! ! The environment was very good, and there was a washing machine and dryer, which just solved the problem of not being able to dry wet clothes during the typhoon. The front desk guy also helped with luggage and other things! The driver sent it to Disney for free. Breakfast was provided. It was a pity that I didn’t have time to eat it. Hahahahahaha I will come again next time if I have the chance!

Summarize in short : they should keep this place only for Chinese speaker, not recommend for traveller with other languages. Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus. The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself. On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them. Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this. At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen. Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure. I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm. To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :) Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol. Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good. Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

I booked this hotel for its proximity to Shanghai Disneyland and the pictures look good. And it didn't disappoint. The rooms were very modern, clean, huge and the beds were comfortable. I like the separate shower (especially the rain shower) and toilet area. The free shutter to SDL is very convenient and a bonus but the hotel is located 5 minutes away from the local metro (line 11). It's only 1 station away from Shanghai Disneyland station. It's too hard to find the bus for the return trip and the hotel didn't offer very good instructions on how to board the return bus. But the train station is only one stop away and costs RMB3. I would stay at this hotel again if I were to visit SDL but it's too far away from the city centre (I booked another hotel for the city). The hotel offers an extra service to book early entry passes into SDL which was really really helpful. The listed price was RMB189 and I paid RMB210 for this service and it was worth every cent. I entered SDL at 7am and was able to do all the rides I wanted in 1 day. Highly recommended.
