Hotels in Hongqiao Airport/National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai

This is my second stay here, and compared to other hotels in the same category, the facilities and staff professionalism are top-notch. A special shout-out to the two ladies at the executive lounge on the evening of July 5th. We arrived close to 8 PM, and they patiently waited for us to finish getting our food before starting to clean up. The only issue was that the entrance for the hotel shuttle was a bit hard to find. If you come in from the Hongqiao Airport entrance, there's no air conditioning for the several-dozen-meter walk from the main hall to the hotel, and the security guards were sweating profusely from the heat.

Thanks for upgrading me to a duplex room with a window. However, there's no desk, which is quite inconvenient for business travelers. It takes about 30 minutes by bus to Hongqiao Railway Station. Overall, it's still great value for money, and I'd recommend it for family trips.

We chose InterContinental because our child wanted to attend a comic convention. We arrived around midnight on Thursday. We had booked a standard twin room for the first night and an open-plan suite for the second. The young lady who checked us in was polite, but her little 'schemes' were off-putting. She suggested we keep the standard twin room for the second night and retain the executive benefits of the suite, telling me that the open-plan suite only had a king bed. My husband asked her if she knew the price difference between the two room types, and she claimed not to. I immediately declined, telling her that a king bed was fine, and thanked her for her 'consideration.' The spaciousness of the open-plan suite compared to the standard twin room was enough for our family of three, and we could find other ways to sleep. How could she know that the open-plan suite came with executive benefits but not know the price difference between the two room types, especially during a convention? In the past, we've only ever been offered upgrades; this is the first time I've encountered someone suggesting a downgrade. All the other front desk staff who handled our room change and check-out later were very good, and the housekeeping lady on our floor was also great. The hotel breakfast was very good.

Staying at Shanghai Rueting Xijiao S Hotel for a trip to Panlong Tiandi was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to Nicole. The overall stay far exceeded my expectations. The biggest highlight is definitely the location – it's incredibly convenient for visiting Panlong Ancient Town, saving you from long commutes. The room was spotlessly clean and bright with plenty of natural light, making for a very comfortable rest. The hotel's amenities are excellent, and it takes the hassle out of getting around and parking. It's the perfect place to stay if you're exploring this Jiangnan water town. Highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Panlong Tiandi!

This is my second stay at The Qube Hotel. Both times I've been here for an exhibition. This time, due to some circumstances, I was attending the exhibition alone, and the booth I was looking forward to seeing was unexpectedly removed, which left me feeling quite down. However, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and enthusiastic, and even gave me a complimentary upgrade to a suite. The night view of Hongqiao is beautiful, and the staff at the swimming pool were also very patient. The pool is heated and constant temperature, which truly washed away all the fatigue from my journey. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly warm and attentive. They proactively offered a late check-out and provided detailed and helpful travel tips. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting to the airport, high-speed train station, and subway. The room was quiet and comfortable with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast spread was extensive with fresh and delicious food. All in all, it's amazing value for money, highly recommend!

The Hotel has 3 towers in total and is very close to Hongqiao Railway station and airport . Pro: they serve breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner buffet( with happy hour with alcohol) as compared to other hotels who only provide breakfast buffet for the price. Cons: 1) NO INROOM DINING AND NO MINIBAR. I don’t know why is it difficult to provide these basic amenities despite being and IHG hotel . 2) Also their king size beds are actually queen size , the king premium room assigned was with queen bed and less carpet area. 3) The noise insulation is very weak and I could hear if someone using bathtub or coffee machine, or talking outside my room very clearly . Perhaps hotel can improve on that . 4) The WiFi is very slow and under performative . It needs serious improvement . I gave this rating due to 3 buffets they provide in same price rest is pretty basic for an IHG hotel but no inroom dining and absence of minibar was a major let down from crownplaza. I don’t know why . 😓

”Amazing! This esports hotel is the best I've stayed at recently! I came for the high-spec setup, and it didn't disappoint. The computer has a top-of-the-line graphics card and a monitor with an ultra-high refresh rate. The keyboard and mouse feel amazing, and playing Valorant and League of Legends is completely lag-free with maxed-out frame rates. The headphones have excellent noise isolation; I can hear footsteps very clearly, which doesn't affect my ranking at all. Most importantly, the internet speed is incredibly fast; downloading games is instantaneous! The mechanical keyboard in the room is super comfortable for typing, and the owner thoughtfully provided a mousepad, headphone covers, and hand sanitizer wipes—the attention to detail is truly impressive. I'll definitely choose this hotel next time I'm playing a tournament here, and I highly recommend it to all my esports buddies!”

Our stay was a good experience overall, even though there were a few minor hiccups that were eventually resolved. We brought our family and kids for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary, and the hotel was very thoughtful, decorating our room and upgrading us to a suite. The only downside was that check-in took a while due to the large number of guests on a weekend. For breakfast the next day, there was no one to greet us at the entrance, and with two entrances to the restaurant, we didn't know where to queue. We also had to find our own table. When we arrived around 10 AM, we were informed that breakfast was about to end. The response from a restaurant manager felt unprofessional – first saying we could delay by 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, with no clear answer, just vague statements. After breakfast, I met Manager Zhang, who was on duty at the front desk. I relayed the issues we encountered during our stay and at breakfast, and he patiently addressed and resolved them. He also kindly gave us a small gift and told us to contact him directly for our next visit. We'll definitely plan to come back.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at since returning home. I originally chose it blindly because of its proximity to the airport, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The staff here are all incredibly helpful, especially the ladies in the executive lounge – every single one of them is so enthusiastic. Joy always greets us warmly with a 'hi' and recommends dishes to us. My daughter loves playing with her and even wanted to stay longer. All in all, it was a very delightful stay!
