The night duty manager at the hotel was excellent, efficiently and politely resolving the issue of our room not being cleaned. As an apology for the oversight, they offered two complimentary breakfasts, which they said were not usually included. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, we were met with disdain from the restaurant manager, who stared at me impolitely as if I was going to steal from the buffet. Another female manager behaved similarly. I wanted to ask, do I owe you money? Why is the male manager so enthusiastic towards foreign guests? Do I, a fellow Chinese national, not deserve your service? And to the other female manager, you are very observant; you immediately brought two cups of coffee after your supervisor arrived late. Don't guests who are not your supervisors deserve your service? As a Chinese person, I find such behavior utterly shameful.

The rooms are very upscale, clean, and tidy. I've stayed here many times already. The price is reasonable, and the location is excellent and convenient. I highly recommend it; I always stay here. The front desk service is super friendly and attentive, and they even helped me with an upgrade. The hotel breakfast is also very rich and delicious. I definitely recommend it!

Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and shops, so finding food and getting around is a breeze. The room is spacious, and all the essential amenities are provided. Housekeeping service is prompt and thoughtful. It's the perfect choice for both business and leisure trips, and I'll definitely stay here again.

Pulling back the curtains revealed the hotel's meticulously designed small courtyard – gray brick walls, vintage wall lamps, tropical greenery, and a cozy little nook for sitting, as if bringing the leisurely life of an old villa into the city. The bathroom design was equally clean and crisp, with white square tiles paired with wood-grain flooring. The wet/dry separation layout was clean and comfortable, making for an excellent stay. The vintage posters above the bed and the red brick walls in the hallway subtly tell the stories of old Shanghai, making every casual photo feel like an atmospheric masterpiece. Here, you can feel the gentle sedimentation of past times while enjoying the comfort and convenience of a modern hotel. It's an excellent choice for experiencing the unique Shanghainese style when visiting Shanghai.

The facilities are brand new and the room is quite spacious with plenty of closet storage. The cleaning staff are very diligent, and the front desk service is excellent and friendly. You can easily contact them via WeChat for any requests. It's a shame I couldn't extend my stay after two nights; it seems the place is just too popular!

Although it was my first time staying here, the experience was really satisfying. The hotel facilities are well-equipped and quite new. It's very comfortable for business trips. Recommended! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai for business.

Returned with family and friends for another stay. The hotel environment is quite good, clean and hygienic, and very convenient for getting around. It's close to the train station, just one stop away, and we found it very easy to walk to the hotel. The customer service attitude was excellent, and they offered free luggage storage. Overall, it offers great value for money.

I booked a 'Sleep Well' room hoping for a good night's sleep. Because of a neck issue, I can't use overly firm pillows. I asked the hotel if they had low buckwheat pillows or kids' pillows, but they couldn't provide any. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, across various categories, this is the first one where they didn't have a low pillow, and the hotel offered no further explanation. At 6 AM, I was woken up by the light. The room's curtains don't close properly and let light in. I brought up the issue with the front desk when I checked out at 8:30 AM and asked for a follow-up call. By 3 PM, I still hadn't received a call back, so I rang the hotel again. The front desk agent said he was on a different shift and wasn't aware of the situation, promising to have a colleague contact me. It took another eleven minutes for someone to call me. They explained that they had already asked a worker to adjust the curtains, but apparently, the curtains in this hotel are poorly installed, and all rooms are like this, not just mine. I then asked, 'If I booked a 'Sleep Well' room, how can I sleep well with so much light?' The staff replied that 'Sleep Well' refers to the mattress, pillows, and essential oils. Does that mean it doesn't include blackout curtains? What's the point of essential oils if the curtains don't block out light? I suggested a compromise: they could just refund me the 40-yuan price difference, as if I had booked the most basic room. I'd take the loss and wouldn't come back. The staff offered me a 90-day HUAZHU Gold Card membership, but I declined as I don't frequently stay at Ji Hotel. I then asked if I could add them on WeChat to send photos, and they said yes, confirming my WeChat ID. I've been waiting ever since, but there's been no response! No one has contacted me! Regarding cleanliness, the shower design requires you to enter barefoot, and the floor was incredibly dirty! This isn't my first time staying at this hotel. Last time, I couldn't sleep because of a very loud malfunctioning air conditioner outdoor unit. However, the staff handled that situation quite proactively. Due to my work location, I had to stay here again, but unfortunately, it was another bad experience. This review reflects only my personal stay experience and is for your reference only!

The hotel is surrounded by excellent amenities, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The room facilities are very comprehensive, including a luxurious gym and swimming pool. The service attitude was also fantastic; Melody arranged a really great room for us during check-in. The bedding was clean, and the room was spacious.
