Hotels in LEGOLAND RESORT, Shanghai

I usually don't write reviews, but I definitely wouldn't stay at this LEGOLAND Hotel again. The hotel requires check-out by 11 AM and check-in after 4 PM. Although LEGOLAND Resort allows early entry at 9:30 AM (half an hour before opening), we (3 adults, including an elderly friend, and 2 children) chose this hotel for the convenience of traveling with kids. We checked out before entering the park. Later, one of the younger children, being only about 92cm tall, didn't have much to do, so two adults and I returned to the hotel. We had luggage stored there, so we decided to grab some food outside. We brought back some cold noodles and a cold dish (for the other child). Out of courtesy, we asked a staff member if there was a place for the child to eat. Frankly, it would have been better not to ask (some people say we should have just eaten it without asking). The staff member immediately said we couldn't eat in the lobby and had to go back to our room. How could I go back to the room when check-out was at 11 AM? I couldn't possibly book another room just for a meal! The staff member kept saying they would ask around, but after much back-and-forth between different staff members, there was still no place for our child to eat their noodles. Even funnier, a male staff member suggested we go eat at a small shed outside the hotel – when the temperature was almost 38 degrees Celsius! We didn't go outside again. Eventually, we just let the child eat a little something on one of their benches. This LEGOLAND Hotel in Jinshan is really disappointing. You can't be too honest or too polite when you're out and about!

Our stay at Shanghai Winster Hotel was absolutely fantastic! It was raining when we arrived in Shanghai, and the driver immediately helped us with our luggage. He was incredibly attentive and patient throughout, even chatting and playing with our child, quickly becoming good friends. The front desk staff were also excellent; they had warm, friendly smiles and processed our check-in quickly. They carefully explained the local attractions and hotel facilities, and patiently answered all our questions. The room was spotless, comfortably laid out, and had great soundproofing. From the moment we stepped in, the service was thoughtful and warm, with no perfunctory gestures at all. Our travel fatigue instantly disappeared, and it offers great value for money. This is our go-to hotel for Legoland, and it's our second time staying here. We'll definitely be back for our next trip!

Overall, my stay was fantastic. The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Legoland, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and the furnishings and facilities felt brand new with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all amenities were well-stocked with attention to detail. The staff throughout our stay were incredibly warm and polite. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the housekeeping and lobby staff were always responsive, quickly and properly addressing any requests we had. The service quality was truly excellent. The only minor drawback was the breakfast buffet experience. The overall selection of dishes was quite limited, with not much variety in Western, Chinese, pastry, or hot food options, making it hard to satisfy different tastes. The cooking area for breakfast was small and cramped, and with insufficient staff preparing food on-site, popular stations often had long queues. Replenishment was slow, and we frequently had to wait a long time for new dishes to come out once they ran out, significantly diminishing the dining experience during peak hours. If they could expand the breakfast area, add more staff, and diversify the food options, the overall experience would be even more perfect. It's a great hotel for a theme park trip; only the breakfast needs improvement.

Our summer trip to Shanghai centered around Legoland, and for the first night, we chose this guesthouse as a stopover. The owner was very welcoming and called in advance to arrange a pickup from the station. It's about a ten-minute drive from Jinshan North Station to the guesthouse. Although the breakfast was simple, it was very well-prepared. I highly recommend staying here.

Nestled near Fengjing Ancient Town and Legoland, this guesthouse boasts a perfect tranquil setting. A 5-minute walk brings you to the charming water town atmosphere, while Legoland is a 15-minute drive away. A day trip to the ancient town followed by a day at the park offers a relaxed and hassle-free experience. The guesthouse features a secluded courtyard with lush greenery and elegant decor. The comfortable and airy rooms capture the gentle charm and everyday comforts of Jiangnan. Away from the hustle and bustle, only the gentle breeze and warm sunshine create a slow-paced atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Recently, they've added handmade kiln-baked bread, a unique and heartwarming experience. Slow-baked in a traditional brick kiln with fruitwood, naturally fermented and without added preservatives, every step from fermentation to baking is imbued with the warmth of handcrafting. Watching the dough slowly rise in the kiln, smelling the increasing aroma of wheat, and experiencing the warmth and fragrance of the bread upon baking is incredibly comforting. You can even participate in the baking process, transforming the rustic charm into a tangible beauty. Stay here, and you won't be in a rush. Simply stroll, savor the moment, and let life unfold gently in the sunlight.

This is a new hotel with brand new facilities, no lingering renovation smell, and excellent hygiene. It's conveniently located in Wufu Commercial Plaza, easy to find. It's just a two or three-minute walk from Donglin Temple (Jinshan) and Zhujing Bus Station. Taking public transport to Legoland is also very convenient. Booked a King Room but got upgraded to a Lake View Room, which was fantastic! The environment is lovely and quiet, and the room itself is quite spacious. It's super convenient for visiting nearby Legoland and Fengjing Ancient Town. Breakfast was pretty extensive, and the kids absolutely loved the pool. On rainy days, the hotel even offers pixel art activities for children, which was a nice touch. We'd definitely come back again! 🌹

This holiday at the Garden B&B in Shanghai's Fragrant Town was perfect. It completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the B&B, it felt like entering a meticulously maintained secret garden—the courtyard was lush and green, filled with a subtle floral fragrance that instantly soothed me. The B&B's design was ingenious, blending the romance of European countryside with elegant Eastern details. Our room was spacious and bright, with large windows facing the garden. We were woken by the sunlight and the chirping of birds in the morning, and could see the stars at night. The facilities were also thoughtful: the bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and high-quality aromatherapy products were provided, echoing the ”fragrant” theme. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Ms. Sisi, who was exceptionally kind, patient, and responsible, always ready to help. She not only enthusiastically recommended walking routes around the town but also prepared exquisite handmade breakfasts that were both beautiful and delicious. Although not far from the city center, it was as quiet as a secluded paradise, perfect for those who want a short escape from the city and enjoy peaceful moments. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely come again! Oh, and I forgot to mention how convenient it is to stay here when visiting LEGOLAND. It's only about 3 kilometers away. After a day of exploring the park, you can return to a quiet and comfortable guesthouse, and a good night's rest will leave you feeling refreshed! Suitable for: Couples, families, friends, photography enthusiasts, and nature lovers. Highlights: Garden views, attentive service, tranquil atmosphere, great for taking photos.

Before the trip, I saw reviews mentioning various pretexts for requiring guests to register for the Ji Hotel app. Sure enough, upon check-in, we were told that only app registration could activate breakfast, even though we had already paid extra for two breakfasts when booking through Ctrip. The hotel unilaterally added these restrictions to meet their own targets! They had no grounds to argue after we questioned them. They only gave us one room key, not even an electricity card; the air conditioning was cut off as soon as we left the room, making it incredibly stuffy! Breakfast was unavailable; on the weekend, due to the large number of guests, by 8 am there was almost nothing left to eat, no seats, and no cutlery. Overall, the service received a negative score.

The room decor was really nice, and the bedding and towels were very clean. The facilities were also good. The owner was super kind; when we asked for an extra blanket, they even provided a smaller pillow suitable for our child. After leaving the amusement park in the evening, we had to catch a high-speed train. The owner picked us up with our luggage and drove us to the train station, which was incredibly convenient. Absolutely super nice.
