Hotels in Dapuqiao Area, Shanghai

The front desk service was concise and efficient, with a warm and polite attitude. Both check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and they patiently answered any questions I had. Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free experience, highly recommended.

My stay was generally fine, but what you pay is what you get. The staff were nice and helpful, and location is still walkable to public transport and quite near to The Bund. However, the cleanliness of the place, especially for shared rooms, were not really good. Furthermore there wasn't any signal in my room, so I had to go to the lobby to use my phone. It was still okay since I was out all day and just needed somewhere to clean up and sleep, but personally I would not stay here again.

This Atour hotel is conveniently located close to the subway, making it super easy to get to all the major attractions. The mattress and pillows are really comfortable, and the individually sealed disposable towels gave us great peace of mind. The smart room control allows you to adjust the lighting and curtains with a single touch. Plus, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned, with no unpleasant odors. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were handled efficiently. The room itself was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a very quiet night. The location was incredibly convenient for getting around, with plenty of options for dining and shopping nearby. Overall, it offered great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

This hotel's location is excellent. Right across the sky bridge is Xujiahui Park, and there are many dining options on Wanping South Road. It seems to be an annex of East Money, imbued with a sense of prosperity. The room decor is natural and cozy, and it's kept very clean. The zero-pressure mattress is incredibly comfortable, which is a major highlight of this hotel. The laundry room on B2 is a fantastic amenity for a business hotel!

The guy at the front desk was incredibly strong and offered excellent service, with an enthusiasm comparable to a certain yellow sponge from Bikini Bottom! Thank you for helping me with my luggage, you worked so hard. I only stayed for two short days this time, but first off, the bed was very comfortable and clean, and the room was well-ventilated. There were plenty of seats inside, and the trash cans and faucets were all thoughtfully placed. No overflowing bins or fighting over faucets or seats here! 😭😭 I particularly appreciated the two mouthwash-dispensing faucets next to the washing machine – very convenient and eco-friendly. The staff regularly sprayed air freshener in the rooms, and complimentary toiletries were provided, which were all thoughtful touches. Plus, the hostel is conveniently located with great transport links, and my fellow guests were all very considerate, so I was really able to focus on my own work these past two days. Just the other day I was saying I wanted to stay here longer to get a better feel for the place, and wouldn't you know it, the opportunity arose, haha. Something came up at work, and since I'd stayed here before, found it decent, and it's close to my office, I figured it was the safest bet. This time I stayed for four nights. They have a VIP building and a regular building; the VIP one is right next door. I even went to the VIP building once because the delivery driver got my order wrong. Because the hotel is in the central Hengfu area and it was summer vacation, there were many domestic and international tourists. However, the front desk ladies were very quick with check-ins, so there wasn't a long queue at the counter. Right next to the front desk is Shanghai Dim Sum, where you can have lunch. I saw that they offer many old Shanghai specialty snacks, and lots of locals come to eat there; business is booming! I'd recommend it to friends visiting Shanghai. The front desk mentioned that breakfast is on the fourth floor, but since my package didn't include breakfast this time, I didn't try it. I'll make sure to next time. Even though the room type I got this time was the same special king room as last time, I think it's a great room. The wardrobe, when closed, can be used to store shoes, or bags and coats, essentially creating a partition from the living area. I personally think this is more hygienic (see the last picture for details). I saw the bellhop working hard every day in the scorching heat, opening and closing car doors for guests, helping with luggage, and directing delivery drivers to put food in the lockers. He's really dedicated. As for downsides, when I asked one of the front desk staff about afternoon tea, he looked completely clueless and didn't know anything about it. Also, it would be good to have another air conditioning vent in the room, perhaps near the TV. I'm not particularly bothered by heat, so sitting at the desk didn't feel hot to me. But if a guest is sensitive to heat, they might find it unbearable, especially on hot days like these. Otherwise, there weren't any major issues. I visited the gazebo last time but didn't this time. I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The overall stay experience exceeded expectations, the location was easy to find, and the travel was very convenient. The room was cleaned very clean, the bedding was soft and sleepy, the front desk check-in was fast and not delayed, the demand response was very fast, the price was very high, and I will choose this one next time I come to the local area.

Overall this hotel exceeds my expectation. First time to stay in this brand hotel - Atour. Price and quality are very good and the hotel staff are excellent. I need to praise the housekeeping staff, they are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is nothing to complain, so many choices and lots of food to eat. The soya sauce dried noodles is fantastic. The hotel is only 5 minutes walking distance from Metro, downstairs has a 24 hours convenience shop. The only thing is no refrigerator inside my room. I have asked the reception for ice but out of my surprise, they said no. A bit weird as they are doing well in everything since I don’t think ice is a expensive thing or difficult to get.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and even on this family trip, it was still a great experience. The location is excellent, with plenty of attractions nearby and convenient transportation. The hotel's facilities, service, and cleanliness are all good. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Shanghai.
