Fantastic hotel! Excellent value for money. There are plenty of food options right across the street, making dining very convenient. I especially want to highlight the room – it's incredibly spacious and clean! There's even a small room perfect for working, which is a huge plus for business travelers. Coming back after a long day at the exhibition, I truly felt comforted. They even provide two different types of pillows to choose from, and the TV is huge. All in all, my stay was absolutely wonderful!
I've been swamped with work lately, so I'm only now getting around to reviewing my recent vacation experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Qibao Ancient Town, making it an easy walk to explore. Plus, right across the street is a commercial complex, so you've got all your dining, shopping, and entertainment needs covered in one spot.
In terms of service, the duty manager, Mr./Ms. Zhang, was incredibly proactive and patient, always willing to help guests resolve any issues. The executive lounge staff, in particular, were all so gentle, proactive, and attentive – it was a really great experience. A special shout-out to Castor, who went above and beyond to help me with late-night food delivery, saving me a trip downstairs.
The only slight letdown was the turndown service, which was a bit underwhelming. I hope for a more perfect experience next time.
I think this hotel allowed us to experience the luxury of convenient transportation, a five-star hotel room and service, and authentic traditional Shanghai culture — both in terms of its food and architectural design — all at the same time.
The hosts of this hotel are warm, considerate, and hardworking people. We were offered umbrellas, laundry service, and trip advice without even having to ask. They have become like family to us now. It’s hard to imagine going to Shanghai in the future and not staying with them.
The following pictures were all taken inside and around this place. Aside from the food we enjoyed every night, morning, and sometimes in the afternoon, we walked around the entire thousand-year-old village and had the best veggie noodle soup I’ve ever tasted, inside the local temple. We played by their fish pond (in the video) and felt emotional walking around the temple tower. We felt warm inside the entire time. And this is what it feels like to stay in this hotel, in Qibao Old Street (七宝老街) village.
This hotel offers great value for money. Aimee Wu at the front desk was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. The breakfast selection was a bit limited and skewed towards Western options, but everything I tasted was delicious. They had black tea but no green tea. Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I went at 9:40 AM, there wasn't much left, so I'd recommend going earlier. The swimming pool is nice; it's a consistent 1.3 meters deep with no separate shallow or deep ends. There aren't any towels at the pool area, so you'll need to bring the bath towels from your room. The room didn't include disposable wooden combs or razors; you have to call to request them separately.

The hotel is very close to Metro Line 2, making it super convenient and quick to get here from Hongqiao. The room was clean and spacious, and having a washing machine and dryer was a huge plus for laundry. Although I didn't eat nearby, I did a quick search and found plenty of dining options within easy reach. Overall, a great experience!
Every time I travel for business, I stay at a HUAZHU Group brand. I've stayed at Atour many times as well, but this Atour in Qibao is just terrible. The price was over 500 RMB, and I'm not sure if that's considered cheap or expensive for Shanghai during the off-season, but the room was too small and really hot – not just a little warm, but genuinely hot. The 'standard room' setup was basically a double room converted, with the beds practically touching. The window was tiny, so it was hard to get any air circulation. I barely slept a wink all night. By the time I checked out today, my blood pressure was through the roof, and I've been low on energy all day. They said they could switch my room at first, but the staff hesitated and then claimed they were fully booked, which is hard to believe since it's the off-season for most hotels.
The room was really nice and well-maintained. There are shared bikes nearby, and a Jixiang Wonton right outside, so breakfast was sorted – great value for money! Plus, there's free tea on the first floor. And the convenience store owner next door has a cat that's super well-behaved and friendly to pet.
Facilities: The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities, and it was spacious and bright.
Hygiene: Spotless and elegant, with a strong sense of sophistication.
Environment: The surrounding area has convenient and fast transportation, making it very easy to get around.
Service: The staff were excellent, attentive and meticulous. I will definitely stay here again.
The room was very comfortable, and it's a new, well-managed hotel. They even offer complimentary welcome fruits. The room was very quiet, perfect for a good rest. It would be amazing if they designed some suites in this style for a staycation. The laundry room and gym are also excellent. Thank you!
My top choice for business trips! The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation, and it's right next to where I needed to be, which saved a lot of time. The room was spacious, the work area was well-designed, and the internet was stable and fast, perfectly meeting my work needs. The staff were professional and attentive, always responding promptly to requests. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations. It's a reliable choice for business travel, and I'll definitely keep it in mind for future stays!

GGuest UserFacilities: Very new, with hardware comparable to a five-star hotel. The room design is well-thought-out and functional.
Cleanliness: The cleaning staff at this hotel are incredibly efficient and keep everything spotless. Atour's bath towels and towels all come in individual bags, which is very hygienic.
Service: There are some minor issues with the engineering department, for example, the hot water wasn't hot for half an hour after I checked in. Kitchen management also needs improvement. The noodle soup is supposed to be a specialty, but it wasn't very good. The toppings lacked fresh options like tomato and egg, only offering easily stored ingredients like pickled vegetables and minced pork, which didn't taste very fresh. The noodle cook's ability to get the noodles al dente seemed to be a matter of luck. Overall, the service was warm and polite during my two-day stay. Perhaps, as a newly opened hotel, management still needs time to iron out the kinks; there's definitely room for improvement. I would stay here again though, the decor is really impressive.
AAnonymous UserFor business trips, the hotel is not too far from the National Convention and Exhibition Center, Hongqiao Airport, and Hongqiao Railway Station. The hotel is pretty good in all aspects, with good service, easy communication, and convenient dining nearby. I will continue to consider it next time.
RRewertLike last year, we chose this hotel for our stay in Shanghai because of its proximity to where our son, his wife and their son, Dominic, our first grandchild live.
This time we booked a larger room facing North Huting Road and it was a good choice, although it did have its consequences in the form of street noise - Shanghai's streets are loud and full of life. However, you get used to it quickly and it was surprisingly quiet at night.
The room had a very large, comfortable bed and you could sleep very well. The bedding was changed very often, we found everything we needed in the bathroom and the nice ladies cleaned the room, changed towels and added bottles of water every day.
The air conditioning worked very well and was very useful because we arrived in Shanghai at the hot beginning of May.
We had an electric kettle and cups at our disposal in the small kitchen bar, we also received tea bags and we could prepare hot drinks and snacks in the morning and evening. It's just a pity that the room didn't have a small fridge to cool drinks - it would have been a great addition to its equipment.
We ate normal meals (lunch, afternoon tea, etc.) on Huting Rd and other places in Shanghai, usually together with our Shanghai family.
We could charge our smartphones and other electronic devices directly from USB and regular sockets without any problems.
Despite the language barrier, the hotel staff always tried to help us as much as possible, and if necessary, we used the language assistance of our son and his wife.
On the day of arrival, and then, on the last day of our stay, we could leave our luggage in the care of the hotel reception without any worries.
In total, we spent 18 days and nights in this hotel and we will remember this stay very fondly,

Best hotel for the price and location. So 5 stars.
Queen room:
Clean glossy tiles and a clean bathroom.Perfect for a couple.
Comfortable bed and pillow.Clean lenin.Perfect lighting.Stainless steel table cum sink in room.Disigned perfectly.
Main advantage is the location.Qibao ancient town is just in walking distance.
Lots of restaurants near by.
Breakfast at the hotel you can buy for 25 yuan.It was a perfect breakfast.
Highly recommended.
My room number was 8650 ( 6th floor )
GGuest UserTwo small bottles of mineral water in a double room, and an additional charge of 5 yuan per bottle is required. The water is not enough to drink in a hotel, and you have to pay extra to buy water. It is raining outside. If you order takeout, you can go downstairs to pick it up by yourself. It cannot be delivered to the room. It is a bit inconvenient
XXiangqurenjianxunhuanWe went on a weekend getaway with friends and randomly picked this small hotel in Qibao Ancient Town – it was incredibly cost-effective! The location was great, close to the scenic area and also conveniently near shopping malls. The room was spotless, and the toiletries were of good quality. There was a free water dispenser in the hallway, so we always had hot water. Plus, the price was affordable; a night's stay was no problem at all. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip!
HHeyyuThe hotel is good, cost-effective, the front desk service is warm, the environment is good, the living is comfortable, the sound insulation is good, the toiletries are sufficient, but the lighting is a bit dim. I will choose it next time.
LLeon|leiNot bad, I'd say it's good value for money. The room isn't big, but it's close to my company, which is the main thing. The price during the exhibition season was already a great deal; other hotels had raised their prices, but this one hadn't.
GGuest UserThe environment of this homestay is really great! Quiet and elegant, the service is super intimate, making people feel at home. The rooms are warm and comfortable, and every detail reveals the owner's intentions and tastes. The location is excellent, very close to the train station, the room is clean and comfortable, the sheets are new, the wifi signal is also very good, watching movies is not stuck. The bathroom facilities are complete and the toiletries are complete, which makes people relax. The landlord is warm and thoughtful, and any problems can be solved in time, which is very satisfying.
