Come to Yazhu Hotel to participate in a friend's wedding. The venue is oversized. Now there are more than 500 people. The car can park hundreds of cars. After drinking wine and friends, I booked a few rooms here. The boss is very good and gave an employee price. The hotel facilities are quite complete. The room and bathroom are cleaned very clean. I am a cleanliness person. Open the room like to check the room, sleep well at night, very quiet, much better than the chain hotel outside, the waiter's attitude is very warm, get up in the morning, eat a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns, a cup of milk, a fruit is awesome!

For a family gathering on the weekend, just five rooms occupied the entire building. The room is very clean and the entertainment facilities are complete. There is a large lawn at the back where children can have fun. We had a barbecue and set off fireworks in the evening, and there was a barbecue grill you could borrow. There are also bicycles here. It is very pleasant to ride a bicycle along the path. The boss is really nice 👍

Room: We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room room on the third floor, all with floor-to-ceiling windows. On sunny nights, you can see a lot of stars when you turn off the lights! Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is very spacious. The hot water pressure is sufficient and the temperature can be adjusted. The bedroom is not crowded, and the balcony is also large. There is an outdoor garden on the first floor with a swing, and a barbecue on the second floor terrace. Decoration: The owner decorated it very carefully. The bathroom is all American standard. The hair dryer and the projector in the master bedroom are Xiaomi. The speakers at the reception on the first floor are Marshall. American coffee is ten dollars a cup (recommended). The coffee powder is actually illy, which is rare in ordinary B&Bs. Service: The air conditioner will be turned on in advance, there are stoves for making tea/barbecue supplies for sale, the housekeeper grows shepherd's purse in the small yard at the door for selling wontons (recommended), the three-story house is cleaned daily, reception, dining, and most of the time only one person is in charge, she is really capable👍 Breakfast: I was so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures. Other comments should have pictures, meat and vegetables are matched, nutrition is balanced, and the dishes are beautiful😍 Parking: There are two rows of parking spaces at the door for free parking; The garden and living room are very large, the balcony windows are triangular, and the facade is very beautiful. (I didn't take pictures specifically, ignoring the down jacket that my son helped us clean with the washing machine after he fell into the mud while picking strawberries😂

This time I came to visit relatives. The location of the B&B is easy to find. It is right on the edge of Chenhai Highway, but you have to go around Panlong Highway and follow the navigation to get there. The B&B is very clean and tidy, and the room has everything you need. The breakfast the next day was very homely, but very characteristic of Chongming. The potato is very sweet, and the Chongming cake is made by the boss himself. It is very glutinous and delicious. Sautéed melons are also a specialty of Chongming, and they don’t sit well with millet porridge. The owner's family is very warm and kind, and they also like to make friends. It was a very happy stay.

The staff are very friendly and tried to support us as much as possible. I visited with my husband and 11 month old baby. Nice grounds with pond and garden area. The games room was used everyday however you need to pay to use the KTV / multimedia room. Room lights, curtains, and air conditioning all controlled via an app on WeChat. The room was also cold in October and I couldn’t control the air conditioning with the app. Reception was helpful to do this but could only set to one temperature. Unfortunately it then became too hot for my baby and was hard to control on the app. The neighbouring room’s front door was too squeaky, waking up my son during sleep. The room was very dusty, visibly on the chandelier and curtains and most importantly it affected our sinus. My husband couldn’t stop sneezing, had a runny nose, and ended up with a nosebleed! This was unusual for him so I’d absolutely recommend a deep clean. There was no air filter available to help. We were kindly provided with a great baby bed/cot however the hotel does not provide linen. We used 2 pillow cases and a towel underneath instead. The swimming pool is seasonal which we didn’t know before coming so we didn’t unpack our swimming gear. Breakfast is good if you like Chinese style cuisine. The staff were very attentive to our needs and requests. There is 1 baby high chair. Get a double room instead of king, double is bigger and you get a table with chairs. We easily slid the beds together to make room for the baby bed/cot. King room only has 1 chair and less space in the room and bathroom. Our baby enjoyed the extra space for movement. No walk-in dinner service was available at the restaurant, it seemed complicated to request meals ahead of time so we went elsewhere. Top tips: get the reception WeChat and if you can afford it rent a car.

The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is spacious, and the window of the room I live in faces the sun. As soon as the curtains are opened, the sun shines in. It should be very comfortable to sit there and bask in the sun while ordering a cup of hot milk tea. The sun was setting a bit when I took the photo, so I probably couldn't see it very well, but it was very comfortable when the sun shone in. Personally, I feel it's really good for a hotel in this price range.

The hotel service is very good. It rained when we arrived that day and the temperature in Chongming was a bit cooler. When we checked in, the front desk clerk took the initiative to give us tissues. We traveled one day in advance during the Dragon Boat Festival to avoid peak hours, and there were few tourists on the island. I strongly recommend that you book one of these rooms if you are traveling with three or five friends or a family, because there are few businesses on the island, and they basically close after 7 or 8 p.m. There are no entertainment activities. It's just right to sing K, play billiards, and play board games in the homestay, otherwise it would be too boring. The room is also very large. In addition to the bed, there is also a Japanese couch. In summer, the couch can sleep two or three adults. The sofa in the living room seems to be a sofa bed. The whole manor is very large, with a fishing pond (remember to bring your own equipment), a large camping lawn, a children's playground, a peach forest, a bamboo forest, and farmland. It's refreshing to get up and walk around. When we left, the boss picked potatoes, loofahs, and green peppers from the field for us to take away and taste. I will stay here again next time I come.
