For a family trip before the end of the summer holiday, we chose the 'old internet-famous' Intercontinental Shanghai Wonderland, also known as the Deep Pit Hotel, for a two-day stay. The hotel thoughtfully assigned Bruce as our butler. Not only did he arrange welcome fruits and sweet soup, but he also upgraded our room type by one level. The hotel lived up to its reputation as a well-established property. From the moment we were greeted to check-in, the overall experience was excellent. The luggage carts even had felt covers, a level of detail I haven't seen in a long time. The room was very clean and tidy, and the bathroom was spacious. The bathmat for the tub was long-pile, while the one for the shower was terry cloth. After comparing, I realized that none of the hotels or high-end guesthouses I've stayed in these past two years made this distinction – truly, the attention to detail was perfect. The most anticipated part of the Deep Pit Hotel is the evening light show. The drone show, synchronized with the 'Classic of Mountains and Seas' light projections, truly made the trip worthwhile. It might not be the largest in scale, but when the drones formed the Big Dipper and various light rings overhead, it definitely elicited countless 'wows.' From the Cai Feng Lou on the top floor, the small underwater aquarium, the nearby amusement park, the night light show, to Bruce's subtle and attentive service – we truly came with high expectations and left thoroughly satisfied.

Stumbled upon a gem of a hotel, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The room conditions were generally good, and the price was very affordable, offering great value for money. The only minor drawback was that the room was a bit small, but overall, it's definitely worth staying here.

Checked in on Monday and got an upgrade to a lake-view king room. Our butler, Bob, contacted me via WeChat a day before with all the important details, which was really thoughtful. The hotel is very family-friendly, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool even has a 'trumpet' slide, and the view from there is amazing, as you can see in the picture. The kids played all afternoon. In the evening, we went ziplining and they did it three times! Breakfast was also decent. We stayed two days and one night, and there was plenty to do right at the hotel.

The hotel facilities are complete, the environment is comfortable, and it's a very pleasant stay. The hygiene is meticulous, with crisp bedding and clean, refreshing bathrooms. Check-in was quick; I got my room card very soon after arriving. Parking for self-drivers is very convenient with plenty of spaces. All the staff members have a great attitude, and the housekeeping aunties are also very good. The luggage storage service is very thoughtful; it's great not to have to carry a lot of luggage when going out to explore, and you can come back for it later. Overall, the experience was fantastic, definitely five stars!

Facilities: Well-equipped, with a smart 'Xiaodu' (voice assistant). There's a small pool in the common area, along with swings and a trampoline. Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, generally comfortable, I slept really well. Environment: The courtyard is full of green plants, the ecology is great, and it has an elegant and unique charm. There are also cute little animals around. The lobby has a retro style, and each building is decorated differently, which is quite interesting. Service: Warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. They were able to answer pretty much all of my questions.

♥️♥️Loved the pillows! The environment is comfortable, the room is spacious, and the staff are sincere. The front desk staff, especially, were so thoughtful and even gave us a souvenir. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next business trip! ♥️♥️

If you want to travel back 500 years and sleep within a picturesque 'Jiangnan' scene on the water, then choosing the Songjiang Guangfulin Prime Minister Mansion Hotel is definitely the right choice. Their old architecture, the fragrance, it's truly enchanting. The moment you step into the lobby, you're stunned – this isn't a replica of an ancient building, but a 100% authentic Ming Dynasty Jinshi Jidi Mansion, originally dismantled and then rebuilt from Guixi, Jiangxi. It's said to be the former residence of Xia Yan, the first Grand Secretary of the Ming Dynasty, with over 500 years of history. The 65 golden nanmu beams and pillars are all constructed with mortise and tenon joints, without a single iron nail. Take a sniff, and the air is filled with a faint, elegant woody fragrance. Absolutely incredible! The Prime Minister Mansion Hotel even has live guzheng performances during the day; it's truly ethereal and graceful. I've already experienced the afternoon tea and the breakfast buffet, both of high quality. The 6:38 PM lantern lighting ceremony is unforgettable; it transports you back to the Ming Dynasty in an instant. Staff members in Hanfu, gongs and drums resounding, and palace lanterns lighting up gradually at the main entrance of the ancient mansion. The warm, red glow washes over the bluestone path, and the butler leads us through the Jidi Mansion, where we beat drums to express our ambitions and draw lucky lots. In just over 20 minutes, it felt as if we had stepped into a painting of an ancient wealthy family's home. Thanks to the hotel for upgrading us to a LOFT room. With a bed upstairs and another downstairs, the kids slept comfortably. The public areas are spacious, and there are many staff members; if we ever got a bit lost, they always appeared at just the right moment, and their inquiries and explanations were always friendly. We also explored the Guangfulin Scenic Area. I particularly liked the underwater cultural museum and the pottery studio – thumbs up! Facilities: Excellent, ancient architecture, absolutely amazing! Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Within the Guangfulin Scenic Area. Service: Friendly!

The room was clean and tidy, the front desk service was attentive, the location was convenient, and the overall stay was excellent – ​​definitely worth repeat booking.

The environment here is really great, and there's a big garden too. The place is spacious and parking is very convenient. The best part is it's very close to the subway station, making it super easy to get around. The hotel is also very clean and hygienic, and the staff are incredibly friendly. After checking out, I left something behind, and the staff member, a lovely lady, even put it aside for me and proactively called to let me know I'd forgotten it. Big thumbs up to her! We'd completely forgotten ourselves.

This isn't our first stay here; we've stayed before and had a great experience, so we brought our child along this time. The surrounding environment is fantastic and perfect for outdoor activities with kids! This time, the hotel contacted us in advance and even upgraded our room to a kids' room, which our little one loved. The accommodation was wonderful, and our daughter was thrilled with the bunny-themed room Maria prepared. Although we didn't use the small bed, the thought behind it was incredibly thoughtful. For families with children, the kids' room is truly well-thought-out! We also ended up using the prepared bathtub, and the water temperature was just right. The disposable bathtub liner was a very thoughtful touch, especially for those of us with young girls who pay attention to such details! Oh! We actually came for the pool! The water is very clean, and every time we swim here, it's a great experience! If you love swimming, you definitely have to come!
