It's OK. There's a weird smell, like cigarettes and alcohol. The things in the room are a bit worn out. The cleaning lady is also sitting in the room playing with her phone. Fortunately she's not lying on the bed. 😂😂

A second time staying here and I had a better experience thanks to the girl in the reception. Upgrading to a room with a window totally solved the smoking smell nightmare I had before(also because the ventilation were sealed in the room).

A very satisfactory stay for a trip. The hotel is clean and tidy. The lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and proactive. She told me that the originally booked room was close to the elevator and was noisy, so she upgraded the room type. The room is very spacious, Xiaodu is very considerate, the bed is very comfortable, there is a small sofa in the corner where you can sit and read, and the shower faucet has large, hot and powerful water. All in all, it is a very cost-effective hotel among all the hotels I have stayed at. The location is also good. I will choose this hotel next time I go there. The hotel photos I didn’t take this time will be added next time.

Pros: price, actual hot water in both bath and shower (this is hit and miss in China- often get lukewarm water), clean bedding, working thermostat (last hotel my room never got really warm), comfy plush slippers. Cons: while the shower and tub were first glance clean, I had to clean off some kind of glue off the bottom of the tub before using it. The carpet is in desperate need of replacing. The room was a bit dusty along the bar and under the water kettle, water kettle needs some proper descaling. Lastly, the hand soap package required scissors to open it, which is annoying.

The hotel is not very big on the first floor, and the rooms are all on the second floor. I booked a single room, which is not big, very clean, and fully equipped. The accommodation price is very affordable, and the front desk lady is very enthusiastic. The hotel is conveniently located near the subway entrance, the China Art Museum, and the Huangpu River. The food in the small shop next to it is also good.

We stayed here in Jan 2024 and they accepted foreigners. Reception was super helpful when checking in, helped us get our luggage after a delayed plane. Overall the people were all very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were very clean, our room was perfect and no smoke smell. location is nearby to many restaurants and convenience stores. Only a 20 minute ride into downtown area. Good stay at a budget price, would recommend.

The hotel staff are very polite. I also washed my clothes in the washing machine. There are many kinds of breakfast. It is highly recommended! The black tea in this refrigerator is delicious! I want another bottle, hahahaha~
