During weekdays, the hotel wasn't crowded. The reading area, gym, and laundry room were all open 24 hours, small, but clean and tidy. It was nice to have a bowl of congee downstairs in the evening. The room itself was good too, and the bedside table had wireless charging.

I specifically chose the off-season to bring my child to Chongming, and to my surprise, the experience was absolutely fantastic. It felt like we had the entire hotel to ourselves! Environment and Atmosphere: The air was incredibly fresh, and the resort grounds were exceptionally quiet. Without the hustle and bustle of peak season, every stroll was a pure delight and very relaxing. Activities and Experience: Even though there weren't many guests, the hotel's activity schedule wasn't cut back at all. The activities were rich and varied, and my child had so much fun they didn't want to stop. Dining: I must praise the food – whether it was breakfast or other meals, the ingredients were incredibly fresh, allowing you to taste their natural deliciousness. It's not easy to find good food outside, so we ended up having all our meals at the hotel with the child. The breakfast portions were super generous, and while the main meals weren't cheap, the servings were truly ample. Service: What was most heartwarming were the staff. Even with fewer guests, their enthusiasm didn't wane one bit. They were especially attentive to children, providing thoughtful and friendly service. Overall, it was a stay that far exceeded our expectations. The whole family loved it, especially the little one, who is already looking forward to coming back.

The hotel is located in the administrative center of Chongming District, a ten-minute walk from Chongming Palace (Chongming County Museum), Yingzhou Park, Nanmen Scenic Embankment and other scenic spots. There are many commercial restaurants around, and the geographical location is excellent. The hotel rooms are simple, spacious, clean and bright, with high-quality facilities and supplies, and comfortable to live in; although there are not many breakfast varieties, they are particularly appetizing and satisfying, especially the 24-hour free coffee and tea service, which is full of features; the service is standardized and in place, and the late check-out is warm and homely; there is a free parking lot, and it is also equipped with charging piles, which is convenient for self-driving travel; overall very satisfied.

Spent two days at Songpin Changxing over the weekend. On August 8th, National Fitness Day, I had a two-hour photo shoot, two hours of table tennis, two hours of billiards, and two hours of tennis. On August 9th, during the 'Typhoon Day,' I spent two hours enjoying the views and two hours playing games. All of these activities were within the hotel and at no extra cost. Compared to Songpin Guilin Yanshan, where I stayed two years ago, the Changxing Island location doesn't have external scenic landscapes or nearby amusement parks to boost its appeal; it relies entirely on its internal offerings. The hotel itself isn't huge, with a lot of 'whitespace' in its public areas, but all the indoor and outdoor dining, entertainment, and fitness facilities are comprehensive, new, and very well-maintained. The noodle bar at breakfast is almost as large as the self-service buffet, which means it's quite extensive. Dinner was also delicious, especially the local lamb hotpot and fermented glutinous rice, which our group of three completely polished off. Besides the butler who maintained constant communication and coordination via WeChat, the staff at the front desk, recreation, and housekeeping were all very enthusiastic. The photographer for the travel shoot was particularly accommodating, fulfilling every request despite the high temperatures (and a heavy rainstorm the next day). Overall, Songpin Changxing is perfect for those who prefer peace and quiet, allowing you to stay in the hotel all day, with everything you need and without any disturbances.

When checking in, nothing was mentioned or explained. We weren't informed about the children's play facilities, nor were we offered children's toiletries. We had to ask for everything ourselves. They just handed us a room card without saying a word. Perhaps the hotel is quite old, as the in-room facilities were not great. Even with the curtains fully drawn, light still seeped through from the top. The air conditioning was so loud it sounded like construction was going on. The pillows and mattress were also very uncomfortable, and the disposable toiletries were incredibly poor. It's hard to believe this is Sheraton standard. The breakfast was also disappointing; we didn't even find Chongming cake, despite being in Chongming. The variety was limited, the taste was mediocre, and there was nothing special about it. For the price, both the service and facilities felt significantly worse than other hotels.

We booked the last capsule hotel room for the meteor shower. The butler added us on WeChat beforehand, making check-in very convenient. The environment was quite nice, and the capsule itself had a futuristic feel. It was a one-bedroom apartment with a balcony, and the air conditioning was quite warm, though a bit noisy at night. The stargazing conditions at the campsite were good; we brought our own binoculars and placed them on the balcony, which was very convenient. We could see many stars at night, and there were a few meteors, but it was too cold. We also went to see a bonfire party and a metal flower performance, which the kids loved and kept asking if there would be any more. The capsule room had a glass roof where you could see the stars outside, which was quite interesting. The temperature was close to freezing the next day, but the sun was shining brightly. Unfortunately, it was too cold outside, so we took a short walk and went back. I think if it hadn't been so cold, we might have participated in more activities.

Decided to spend the weekend in Chongming with friends and chose the Hyatt. The Hyatt is spread across several buildings, with the second floor connecting them all. It's a bit confusing to navigate from the parking lot to your room, the kids' play area, or breakfast, as you have to figure out which elevator to take. **Facilities:** There's a kids' play area, though it's not very big. It has a ball pit with a slide, a trampoline, and a few books and table toys. It's enough to let the kids burn off some energy. **Hygiene:** The family room was pretty clean, and the children's sofa was spotless. **Environment:** We didn't explore much outside, but the balcony view was decent. We even caught some fireworks in the distance at night. The only slight drawback was the faint smell of cooking oil as soon as we entered the restaurant in the morning, but we got used to it once we started eating. **Service:** The concierge added me on WeChat right after check-in and was very enthusiastic. Later, when I accidentally broke a cup, they were quick to ask if I needed housekeeping to clean it up.

I originally planned to celebrate my birthday at Bulgari, but with the cold weather, I really wanted a private hot spring. Traveling out of town felt a bit too far, so I decided on a relaxing 3-day, 2-night stay closer to home. I contacted the hotel in advance, and they confirmed they'd try their best to accommodate an upgrade if a room was available. On the day of check-in, I received a WeChat message from the front desk around noon, confirming my upgraded room. They even did a simple birthday decoration and sent afternoon tea, which made me very happy. I'm someone who loves staying in the hotel, enjoying the food and comfort without going out. So, this place was absolutely perfect for me. I brought my own kimono for photos, but if you don't have one, the guesthouse offers rentals at a reasonable price, and the kimonos are lovely. The sticky rice Pu'er tea offered here is also very much to a woman's liking. Spending the afternoon sipping tea, eating some fruit, soaking in the outdoor hot spring, and chatting was super relaxing. I was fortunate to meet Yu Tong, the manager, during dinner. Her service attitude was fantastic, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. The prices were very reasonable and approachable. I even ordered their Chongming cuisine for the next day, which was also delicious. The next day, I couldn't resist – after lunch, I ordered two more plates of BBQ. Paired with some wine and good company, it was incredibly enjoyable. In my opinion, any establishment that is willing to solicit customer feedback is truly commendable. All my requests during this stay were met, and communication was excellent. The experience at such a high-end guesthouse honestly surpasses some five-star hotels. I'll definitely be a frequent guest in the future.
