We were picked up by a small cart to the accommodation and welcomed to a very clean and modern designed room. Upon entering the lobby we were offered tea which was very nice. Also the room is well equiped with a humidifier and oxygen machine. Furthermore, the owners were very kind, gave us information about where to dress up (hanfu clothing) and packed our breakfast for to go as we had to head to the station early. We received many snacks to try, overall would definitely recommend! Beyond european standards when it comes to hospitality

Best hotel we’ve stayed throughout our stay in Yunnan! Host are very hospitable, making us feel like home 🥰 Location is right in the middle of the ancient city, walkable to the famous spots in the city. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in Shangrila

Originally I just wanted to choose a B&B close to the ancient city before I booked the Ganlu Inn. When I checked in, I asked the boss to order the dinner for the toast banquet. When I went to the venue, I found out that the toast banquet had to squeeze 7 guests into the dining space for 5 people. It was very inconvenient and could not be improved after protesting. We immediately refused to eat and left. We did not expect this problem. The owner of the B&B handled it very well. We can feel the care and warmth of the B&B. We are very grateful to the owner for treating guests with care. We will have the opportunity in the future. When coming to Shangri-La, Ganlu Inn will be my first choice.
