Offer called taxi (Didi) and advance pay for us on round trip going anywhere. Best staffs hotel ever! 26 arrived at Chaozhou on 15:15 heavy rain! (Me and my mom & dad (both 78ys) can't walk to hotel (2 km away). Hire taxi by Didi, on queues! 3 hours; taxi still on queue and heavy rain. The water level rises! Citi gets flood! We stucked at airport bus drop off. Electricity went off. Everywhere getting dark except than street because street light on. Water stop to raise up at thigh deep. We have been on these situation all night with few breads and drinking water. 4 AM situation getting better, water at knee deep. 5 AM water at shin deep. 6 AM water at ankle deep. We found taxi so we hire taxi go to Yibisi in Shantou Small Park (reserve to stay here 2 nights).
