Shantou Hotels with Wi-Fi

It’s a good hotel. Locate not in the center but not too far from heping road. Good breakfast. The restaurant has both western and eastern food. Some room has smoke smell. On the third floor has dim sum serve on 7.30-14.00. Good taste. The opposite has Walmart you can shop on 10.00-22.00.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it has been pleasant indeed. The staff at the reception desk, Daisy, Rita, Ivy and Ella were very helpful. The bell boy, Wesley Xie was exceptional as he paid first for our Didi taxi ride out of his own electronic purse without pressing or reminding us to reimburse him. The front desk manager, without disclosing his name went out of his way to exchange hkd200 for us, using his own Rmb cash on our day of departure. This saved us the trouble for going to the Bank of China for Forex Exchange. Overall, this hotel 's staff served us with the attitude: Customer is the king.

The hotel location is convenient for food, shopping and moving around. Plenty of parking spaces right in front of the entrance. It's also convenient for taxi to pick up and bus stop also 100m away. The front desk receptionist are all very well train, I specially like the service of 丹丹&小蔡 who check us in, they were very patient to their guests, always displaying a smiling face, and also have us very good advise on where to go around town, excellent attitude for service industry. Shantou is good for us food and we decided to extend another night stay at the property, there 小张&小林 the other 2 receptionists who are very pleasant to deal with. We are very happy to pick up this hotel:) By the way, the air conditioning in the room is powerful, perfect for this extremely hot weather. The housekeeping ladies were very efficient too. Thumbs up!

Liyi is a simple hotel, for solo traveller. Location is perfect which is near to Foodie (20mins walk to LongYan Lu) and clubbing places (5mins on the right) Since is a simple hotel, don’t  expect too much facilities. It has a very nice massage place on the 2nd floor. Previously used to use agoda, but this time use Trip.com. Make a booking on 26Oct for 27Oct-4Nov and realised made a mistake. Cancelled by mistake and realised there was a cancellation fees of 13%, amount 700CNY. Agoda claimed that the hotel refused the refund, but the money was collected by agoda instead. They lied again and again, keep pushing the blame to the hotel. Integrity is an issue. No trust anymore. As such, start using Trip.com. In addition, trip.com give higher rewards.

The location is very good, there are many local snacks nearby, and it is also convenient to the train station. The rooms are very clean and the service is good. Although it is close to the road, it is not noisy and I slept very well. The breakfast is rich and there are many choices. It is a very good hotel.

The hotel room is very beautiful and you can see the yacht sailing. The hotel can see many Diamond League athletes, and it is very good to take pictures. Manager Liu of the concierge service is great. He knows that we are going to see the Diamond League and actively provides us with paper towels. He is very enthusiastic and very enthusiastic. We also sent Xiamen specialties to us when we checked out. Very nice hotel, perfect experience

Service was fantastic. I enjoyed my stay there. They cleaned my room everyday with numerous water supply. The cleaner had a smile on her face everyday even though we couldn’t communicate because she speaks Chinese and I speak English. The team by the reception were very helpful. WiFi was a bit of a mess for me but regardless I’ll choose this hotel anytime I find myself in shantou

This is a small hotel so service and amenities are a bit limited but given the price and location, it is still value for money. The hotel does provide two maps one showing surrounding interest in Shantou city and the other one the surrounding areas. The People's park and ferry terminal are just 10 minutes walk away.
