Old mom and pop hotel. We expected better for $70. Internet kept cutting out. Although it is the only hotel in town.

I booked two queen beds and upon arrival they gave me a queen bed and a little futon. We check out within 10 minutes and went further down the road to the motel 6 which was pretty decent

Crap hotel and oh by the way it's a hotel and Rv park which was not mentioned in ad. Room not ready and strong odor in room from spray to cover up smoke smell I believe.

It was a very basic and BARELY OK place to stay one night. You get what you pay for , maybe. Floor hadn’t been swept in some time. Toilet was dirty shower was old and kind of gross (didn’t use it). Waited a long time to get any hot water at sink. Not sure where all the accolades in the reviews come from unless it’s their friends. Appeared others might have been living there. Would not stay again.

El joven de front desk fue muy amable y rápido. Las sábanas y toallas de la habitación olían bastante mal, la nevera estaba sucia y con mal olor. Los alrededores están muy bien y es un área tranquila.

We were set to drive in very close to the midnight closing time for check in. We called ahead and the staff helped us be sure our family with 3 young kids had a room and a good nights sleep when we arrived. Grateful for a nice stay in Shelby, IA.
