Well, considering that I have lived in China for several years, I can say that I’ve gotten used to the Chinese mentality and have become quite tolerant. However, I’ve never experienced anything like this after leaving negative reviews about the cleanliness of the accommodation, the owner called me out, saying that it wasn’t true and that I should delete the comment because people won’t want to book the accommodation because of it. He said he doesn’t have time, that he has a daughter to take care of, and I really don’t see why, as a guest, that should concern me. He also said we need to reduce the use of the air conditioning because of the cost, which is why it wasn’t working, and that we Europeans have high standards when it comes to cleanliness.
